Screw you all. CONTACTS FOREVER!!!!Seriously. my vision is so so SO much better with contacts and I find them conrforable. And actually, for some people, wearing contacts actually DOES stop their vision from getting worse (my vision stopped droping after I got contacts.) In conclusion. NA !

I liked my contacs...I had nothing against them. And things did seem much more clearer wearing them as opposed to my glasses. Although...I did have this problem with them falling out while playing DDR...I guess I don't blink enough when I play for some reason...*shrug* Some day I want to get purple contacs when I have the money to burn.
Ok...this is getting way off topic...maybe we should get back to the actual topic.

For Christmas this year, I got volumes one and two of the uncut Yugioh DVDs, volume two of the Shaman King DVDs, Zelda 2 for the GBA, a cd player, and $30, which I'll use to buy The Shining Mini-series if FYE still has it.

Well, I have pulled myself away from my .hack anime long enough to check my thread which has grown quite a bit I see.
Hmmm... I wear glasses and I'm just too lazy to get into contacts. My wife needs them. Her eyesight is so terrible that everytime she would get a new prescription for glasses her eyes would be back to the way they were before in about a week. Her contacts have indeed helped her eyes from getting worse as Lovely had already mentioned.
I love SK: Power of Spirit. I just finished off the Hanagumi and I am currently going to save Len from Tao En's grasp!!! Wish me luck. This game is hard!!
I also read all three volumes of manga in the same day and if I had 4 or 5 I probably would have finished them off in the same day as well. I was just sucked into the manga immediatly.
Going to go watch more .hack now. Bye!!! ;D

SK: Power of Spirit was pretty easy for me one of the only games I can actually win XD. The manga is fun to read because I can read them in a few hours (only because my reading Level is REALLLLY high XD) When I first got vols. 1-3 I couldn't put them down until I had finished. I'll have to make a stop at Barns and Nobles to pick up vol five (for some reason the closer books a million store doesn’t realize four and five are out XD.

You know why glasses will always be better than contacts? You can lick them. You can't lick contacts, because that's just gross, but you get to lick your glasses and keep them shiny and clean. So, there. Also, if you have sensitive eyes you can't wear yucky contacts. 0.o And I got my sister's present to me in the mail. She sent me a...Satanic Bible. And now my mom keeps calling me a paganist devil-worshiper, which I'm not. Stupid sisters. *licks glasses*

Wow! That's alot of presents!
This is off topic but I have never licked my glasses. No offense but aren't contacts and glasses are both made out of glass? This is starting to look like salad vs. pepsi again...

*Squashes the salad/pepsi connection. I do not wish to start that again. It got way out of hand if you ask me. ;D I too do not lick my glasses. ? I just run them under the sink and dry them with a towel. I would not wish to put the crap that gets on my glasses (namely the oil from my skin) in my mouth. *Tries to erase vision from mind

1)Glasses>Contacts. For starters, you don't have to stick them IN your eye. Secondly, if you're lazy like me and don't clean them, you won't get an eye infection. Thirdly, it adds to the oh-so-wonderful "geek" look. Fourthly, they make excellent eye shields. Last year in Phy. Ed., we were playing whiffleball, I was pitching, and the batter somehow hit the wiffle ball RIGHT TOWARDS MY EYE. It ran into my glasses(which fell off) and left me with a watery, sort of painful eye and a cut above my eye. Of course, I shudder to think about what would have happened had I NOT had my glasses on. That incident made me firmly put my trust in glasses.
Wow, I wrote a paragraph on that. That scares me. Oh, and I've never licked them.
2)Now, what I got for X-mas was... -A bag of chocolate covered oreos -$85(unspent) -A Barnes & Noble giftcard worth $30(spent) -An UNOPENABLE plastic candy cane full of Hershy's Kisses(had to stab,cut, and slash it with scissors to open it. Don't you hate when you can't open a food container?) -Volume 3 of .hack//LoTB -A Phase 10 deck(it's a card game)

Glasses=Contacts
I would apreciate it if people stopped puting down the ONE thing in my life that gives me comfort. Thanks.
