awwww,
yeah don't put down something like contacts because my partner wears them occationaly. it would almost be like me picking crutches over a wheelchair when they both serve the same purpose. just like glasses and contacts serve the same purpose. they just look diffrent, thats all.
i, myself, prefer glasses, because i don't like touching my eyes. and lovely prefers contacts for her own reason.

Last year in Phy. Ed., we were playing whiffleball, I was pitching, and the batter somehow hit the wiffle ball RIGHT TOWARDS MY EYE. It ran into my glasses(which fell off) and left me with a watery, sort of painful eye and a cut above my eye. Of course, I shudder to think about what would have happened had I NOT had my glasses on. That incident made me firmly put my trust in glasses. I never wear my glasses during PE (or Americans would call Physical Education, I think) . Because of this, I got hit in the face during Dodgeball twice this year and last year. And... it hurt. Why do we have to debate this anyway? Is debate the apporiate (sp?) word here?

uhhhhh.....let's see, what did I get? Oh yeah, I got: several new outfits a lava lamp a DVD player (it's kinda for all of us, not just me) some new books that I asked for and a cool new leather jacket, lol. Oh, yeah, my brother's girlfriends, sister lives in Japan, so she sent me some neato stuff from Japan. I got a couple of blank scrolls and a Kanji writing kit thingy. It's VERY cool. ^_^ We call it PE here in America too. And I don't wear contacts or glasses so on that subject I can't comment. (why I'm even posting about that, i have no idea)

Glasses=Contacts I would apreciate it if people stopped putting down the ONE thing in my life that gives me comfort. Thanks. I didn't mean to belittle contacts Lovely. I'm sorry. I just think they're more of a hassle than glasses that's all. I also don't mind that it seems like my christmas presesnt thread has been near hijacked into an eyewear debate. >_<

You drink? I never would have guessed.
I am totally anti-alcohol, but I respect a persons decision to.
Oh boy, am I going to spark another debate?! ;D
