Yes.
I'm not addicted to it, but it is a good series. It's a nice choice if you just want to relax and laugh a little. I like how it doesn't take itself seriously.

Why have I not responded to this? I started the series with the manga. It looked like your standard shoujo fluff, with the all too comon mild spoiler*** Girl who dresses up as a boy Oh NOES! plot. When I first picked it up, I didn't really expect to like it all that much and it was just something to read in the bookstore when I had some time to kill. OH HOW WRONG I WAS. I ending up loving it! And now I own volumes 1-6. I love Ouran because it's basically a PARODY of shoujo and harem shows. As Res said, I like how the series just makes fun of itself and doesn't bog itself down with over-the-top seriousness. Anyways, I was happy when I found out an anime was being made of the series, and from the episodes I've seen. I like it. I like how the visuals were done. It has a very "Revolutionary Girl Utena" feel to it. (Though I think some jokes added to the anime are overplayed a bit-- Such as the banana peels and Renge's entrances.) I also love how the two MAIN leads don't have the personality of your typical anime/manga leads. Haruhi is NOT your standard squeaky/wishy-washy heroine. I love how she adapts to her situations. And has a "I don't really care..." attitude. Tamaki is NOT the over-angsty, rude "bad boy" that most shoujo series tend to love so much. Tamaki is in fact, one of my favorite guy types that you don't see all that much in anime, the "goofy bastard."  . So yeah, I'm a fan. |

Tamaki scares me... granted, there's also a Tamaki in my RP, and he's spazzing out over everything (and managed to get a bunch of people pissed at him...). But the twins scare me more...
**sigh** Lunar!!! Where is episode 18?!?!?!

Im up to episode 9 right now *slow* but so far I love it! In October im gonna cosplay as Karou with one of my look-a-likes, who's gonna be Hikaru. We'll get pics of our "brotherly love"

Well, I never thought I would ever become obsessed with a shojo type manga, but somehow I have.  I got pulled in because of the humor, but everybody's backstories are so touching(though I felt kinda cheated since Mori didn't get that much of a backstory). (Though I think some jokes added to the anime are overplayed a bit-- Such as the banana peels and Renge's entrances.) I agree the the banana jokes, but I love Renge's entrances! The overplayed joke I was most disappointed with was the arrow joke. It was the best thing ever in the first episode, but then they kept using it over and over and over.... As for my spoiler free thoughts on the last episode: Waiiiii!!! ;D It makes me just fall in love with the ending theme. I hope they start it up again eventually, since the manga's still going and all. I wonder which dubbing compainies have their eyes on Ouran. |

I've seen the Ouran High School Host club boys at this year's Anime Boston convention and looked it up on Wikipedia... but I'm still kind of puzzled. Does anyone know where I can watch it?

host club and shaman king are my 2 fav animes and mangas!!
it is amazing!!
i prefer the manga to the anime, but the anime is still v. good!
i watched the anime on youtube. all the subbed and raw episodes are there, so you should be able to find it.

Lunar's got subs of it. go download it from them Ouran is indeed quite good. the middle episodes weren't so great, but the last 6 eps were epic. ^^ |
