My dad only told me about it this morning. A sister of a swedish student we had was in Thailand at the time of the tsunamis so we're hoping she's okay.

my mom thought tsumani's were fake ^^;
but man that had to really sucked. the death toll is in the thousands as i can recall.

Yeah, something like 200,000 people died. It was a 9.0 on the scale. I read about it in the paper this morning. Geeze...

I hope I'm not bumping this or anything but we E-mailed Lie (the Swedish student) and her Sister is fine, she had gone and stayed in the mountins two days before. But this is probably one of the biggest natural disasters in quite a long time, it seems like the death toll keeps rising, I hope it stops soon. Although alot of people have died aparently alot of other animals havn't.
