 "Juki Ningen Jon Bor" is its name, apparently. It's Takei's return to Jump... And that's mostly what I know. I found this at ST. Anybody have anymore info? When the first chapter comes out, for instance...? |

Yeah, I'm still around.....
The new "official" title translation is now: Jyûki Ningen Jumbo or Jyûki Ningen Jumbor. The "R" at the end of Jumbo doesn't make any sence, so we haven't really desided on a name. One the first chapter comes out, we (as in BadS, Windera, and I) will deside on the name and translation of the name we like best. But till then, we call it JNJ. The translated name right now is Heavy-Mecha Human Jumbo.
Anyways, details.
Chapter 1 comes out on December 18th.
It will be about 60 pages.
It will be on the cover of WJ, so that means that, like always be at least color manga 3 pages.
"The adventures of a boy called Nakaga Washiro, who can 'paint' destruction and creation"
Yes, Mankin-Trad, will be scanlating this, hopefully weekly.

Most of the up-to-date info will be held on Messworld (weekly translations), Mankin-Trad (weekly scanlations), and The Great Spirit (formally Shaman King Nation, for any and all other news updates). We may have a break away site for JNJ, but at this time, it's not planned. Once we see the manga, we'll know.
RAWs should be out late next week.

Actually, I think the boy in the bottom-right corner is the only part of Takei's new series on that page. For one thing, the rest of the people on that page are far from Takei's style. |

XD I'm seeing some familiar faces in there, believe it or not. Particularly ancientrelic!Ryu.
It's a mecha. By Takei. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOMIGOD. The mecha make sense... they look clunky and technological, not pretty and almost-human, and they seem to be ground-bound. EEEEEEEEEEEE.

Mankin-Trad, my scanlation group has released Jyuki Ningen Jumbor Chapter 1 complete scanlation at the website. It's mankin.trad.free.fr for those who don't know. Also, it was just cancelled in Japan, just like Butsu Zone and Shaman King. It lasted 10 chapters, but additional chapters have a VERY good chance appearing in the Volume release. Mankin-Trad will still scanlate Jumbor none the less, as long as translations keep coming. |
