Decisions, Decisions...

I need help on making a decision on an anime purchase... Since my family nor friends know jack-squat on anime, I can't ask them. You see, recently I got over $170, (out of begging mostly XD) I need $500 XD! (Like that's going to happen anytime soon..).

Originally, I was saving money to buy all 18 volumes (DVDs) of Cardcaptor Sakura. (Yes, I'm that crazy to want to buy them all at once, the movies are not important at the moment. T_T) With what I have right now I can buy 7 volumes.

BUT! I also want to buy all 31 volumes (31's the last right? I forgot...) of the SK manga...It's in japanese, yes. But I don't care if I can't read it. XD I'll figure out what's going on by the pictures! I can...really...I figured out the Osorezan Revoir CD Drama easily, despite the fact I didn't know what they were saying most of the time...thankyou sound effects and voices! XD

Plus, where I live, I have no SJ, GNs, or any other anime items. Even if it did, I wouldn't be able to stand waiting. XD (even though other languages seem to translate faster...o_0).

So, my problem is deciding what to get first, CCS DVDs, or SK manga...

CCS, I wanted to get all the DVDs at the same time...with SK, I CAN get all the manga volumes at the same time (I have enough...).

GAH~! @_@

So, please, help me with this decision, should I get SK now? Or save for CCS (which I assure you will take LONG, it's hard to gain dollars here, our currency, the cordoba *cords for short*, is higher...o_0 like....one dollar is 15 cords here...so even if I get 100 cords, I'll only have $6.25....@_@)

I forgot to mention, if I get SK first, I'll still have money left over to buy at least two volumes of CCS. XD

But~! I'd probably use the leftover money to buy Cyberteam in Akihabara...it's only two volumes itself so far...such a fun series...I miss it so...*wants her DirectTV and anime channel back* ><!

Gah...no one happens to know a way to raise money fast? XD Drawing doesn't work...believe me...I've tried it...T_T

Well, you already seem to know just about everything there is to know about SK resurie so I would proabably go for the CCS.

I'm waiting for the english SK since I woudln't be able to stand not being able to read it.

Sure, I may know a lot about SK, but there a lot of things in the manga I don't know about, like...um...o_0 What happens to the Hanagumi! (oh wait..I do know that....damn! >_O) Um..well, everything seems to go different in the manga. I would be able to stand not reading it...(that sounded funny...) and like I mentioned, I have no SJ, meaning no english SK.

I've been thinking about this all day yesterday, which probably led to the fact that I realized it was New Years Eve when I heard fireworks at like 8:00 PM... I swear...I didn't know it was New Years yesterday! @_@.

Can't you order english SK manga online? That's what I'm probably going to do for vol. 4 & 5. I can't find them anywhere around my area.

I don't subscribe to SJ either. Too expensive.

Personally, I would go for Cardcaptor Sakura. Manga is a lot cheaper than anime is, so you'll most likely have a greater chance of being able to buy all of the Shaman King manga again some other time, than you would having a chance to buy all of the Cardcaptor Sakura anime. Just make sure that you're buying the official DVDs and not the evil Hong Kong bootlegs, but you probably don't need me to tell you that. ^^

Jr.- Ordering SK on line would be kind of pointless for me, I've read up to Volume 7 in english. Plus, I don't want Viz's SK. @_@ (don't ask...) Plus, like I said, I can't stand waiting. ><

Takato- True...but I don't have enough money to buy all of CCS yet...and like I mentioned, it's hard to make money here (dollars that is...). 100 cords is $6.25. @_@ That should buy me two volumes though....o_0 STILL!! ><

I think I've made a decision, (despite my mom's talk that "buying anime stuff is a waste of money" T_T) I think I should buy SK first, yes it might sound wrong but wait! If I buy SK, I'll have enough to buy two DVDs, and a very cool wallet. XD

Afterward, when I go back to school, I can TRY to gain money again by drawing (it didn't work last time because I'm lazy and never finished any of the drawings XD). Then I'll buy more DVDs *-*.

I'm still pondering this decision, I think it's the best since I KNOW for a fact I won't get enough to buy the CCS DVDs all at once any time soon.

AND~ since I'm buying so much at once...(32 volumes...o_0), the S&H came off kind of...high? So I won't be able to buy any DVDs....TT_TT
