We don't need to get into this I hope about grammar and periods. I honestly am not sure what Lovely is responding to in her post, but it is rather nice to know where your sentences end and where they begin (capitalization).
But enough about that.... pink: I will have to check out the series again, if what you say is true. I just didn't care for how serious the series was. I liked it for it's humor and those two robot flunkies of Eggman can't do it alone!! And GAAAH! Chris should just stand in the middle of the runway the next time the X-Tornado takes off!
Do us all a favor!!!

Hark! Is that a challenge I hear? Lol, nice to see another Sonic fan! I actually love Knuckles dub voice. Not as good as the Japanese VA, but I really enjoy it. It's gruff, but noble. Rapid, what website are your comparisons on? Jr.: Yeah Eggman did begin to get a little stale at the beginning of this season. But the Eggmoon Saga (last two episodes) was all about Eggman and they were hilarious! The comparisons are on my site, www.thesonictcg.tk Lovely put a link to them on SKU, and I linked back. ^^ When you say 'season' of Sonic X, what do you mean? I tend to watch the Japanese version way more (as if it even needs to be said, it's far superior XD) , and that was just referred to as a single series... ...Plus, every country seems to split the sesons differently. XD Besides, Sonic isn't supposed to be *overly* serious. ^^ It's not really in his character. I mean, SatAM tried to do a really 'dark and serious' Sonic style, and, IMO, it just didn't work. And you know what REALLY sucks? 4Kids 'sharing' BGM between Sonic X and Shaman King. Seriously, I was FREAKED when I heard their 'chaos Emerald' theme tune in Shaman King (wasn't it the first ep with Yamata no Orochi?). ADDED: Oh, Jr.- have you seen the Sonic X raw? Decoe and Bocoe were MUCH funnier in that. ^^; Yohwhat'sup: The Shadow episodes were originally DARKER in Japanese than even the game was. 4Kids cut Maria getting shot, and cut Shadow BEATING UP Chris. Oh, and Live and Learn was in the raw for ep 38. That's gotta be one of the coolest moments ever.

*just about understood that last post* Yeah... the puns they shove in Snic X are so lame. "I pretended I was a bar of soap and gave them the slip!" "Let me give you a RING sometime!" I could list more, but I'd need to explain those ones. *shudders*

Jr.: If you hate Chris, (much like I do), watch the raw or subbed versions of "Maria's Wish, Everyone's Wish" Shadow beats the living s**t outta Chris! YAY SHADOW! Stupid 4Kids editors. Rapid: I mean seasons by the way 4Kids shows 'em since I figured that's what Jr. meant. Oh, I've been visiting your website for long time, I didn't realize it was you who did it. Love the comparisons. SALAMI!! Lol, that's definitely the most pathetic attempt I've ever seen to hide an alcohol reference. On the dub version of "Sonic'c Running Wild, Capture Him!" I think I figured out Why Ella adressed Cheese, or this is at least how I intrepreted it. Right before Ella spoke, Cheese said "Chao!" I think the dub was making a bad pun here, because Ella said "Cheese is right," and then she said something about them eating. I think the pun was that "Chao" sounds like "chow", so that may be why Ella said "Cheese is right," The double entendre makes a horrible joke, yay 4Kids! Oh, and I think you and I agree that the Shadow Saga was raped.

Sometimes 4Kids' jokes are so bad, you can't even understand them. XD I dunno why they cut the Shadow bits so much. Oh yeah, Maria got 'taken away'. Like hell! XD And they cut the ONLY TIME you see blood in the series...

Oh yeah. Chris was magically injured. They kinda hinted that he hit Chris, but it just looks so ridiculous.
Mmm, the soldiers took Maria away, the took away her dead, bullet holed, bloody, DEAD body!

The first season of Sonic X, the dub version, ended after all 7 emeralds were brought together and Sonic turned into Super Sonic. (I don't know what he's called. He's yellow! Take it from there...)

I mean, SatAM tried to do a really 'dark and serious' Sonic style, and, IMO, it just didn't work. And in my opinion, and many other people I went to college with, and several of my friends opinions, SatAM was the best version. (mind you, I haven't seen Underground so I don't know what it's about) I have to give you credit for going through the entire Sonic X series...I was looking for something more serious and with a more realistic feel to it and I gave up on the subs after watching the second one...I know two other guys gave up on the series when Highwest and his group had racing lights leaving the police station in the first episode...jokes about the city "misappropriating tax funds" were endless for the next month after we watched. It looks like the Sonic X series did go a little more serious later on...I caught some of the dub's tie-in with the Sonic Adventure storyline. Personally I would've enjoyed the stories of SatAM to be fleshed out more and probably darker, but to each their own... It's impressive how Archie Comics has kept up their own amalgam all these years... LC

(mind you, I haven't seen Underground so I don't know what it's about) Heh heh, I used to be in LOVE with the SatAM version ^_^ . And Underground was bad. really REALLY bad, I only saw an episode or two but... wow ^^; . I haven't seen much of the Sonic X anime. I do recall liking the original opening. It was oddly catchy. I stopped watching after the first episode because.. well, I ussually stop watching most fansubs after the first episode, figuring I'll just rent the show later when it gets a proper release. Sometimes that method doesn't exactly work out ^^;...

Heh heh, I used to be in LOVE with the SatAM version ^_^ . And Underground was bad. really REALLY bad, I only saw an episode or two but... wow ^^; . I don't remember which was the SatAM version....^^; But I do remember Underground...dear Lord... Underground was what made me dislike Sonic a bit. >_> It was just...bad... I remember Sonic having a fetish with chili dogs. And Tails was more annoying than he is in the games!! >< I remember one series where Sonic had a brother and sister and they had a band together....o_0 One last thing. DEATH TO CHRIS!! *cough* sorry, I had to. ^_^;

Highwest? XD That's a subbing error. He's Sam Speed, AKA the Highway star/Manhen's wind/Sonic Boom/Wild Stranger etc (He changes his nickname every time you see him). XD Sam Speed is his proper name though. I actually missed a lot of SatAM the first time around, seeing as Channel 4 only showed les than half the episodes. ITV2 are showing them again now, so I'm seeing many of them for the first time. But, I'm not *too* impressed. There seems to be very little direct contnuity. Besides, I'm a Segasonic purist and think Sally is like a cancer on the Sonic world. XD As for the comics- I read 'em, but you can bet I don't like 'em. XD XD They've warped the Sonic universe so outta shape in that series, it's barely like a Sonic comic anymore. More like a regular comic (which I'm not a fan of in general), wich Sonic characters shamelessly pasted over the top. Lovely: Yes, Sonic Drive is my fave song EVER. XD *sings* #Inside Outside, Semete! Iisai Gasai, Nuite!# *is hit with bricks*

Dare hitori mo nani hitotsu mo, Mae wo ikasetaku wa nai!
*gets hit with rock*
Heh, I liked SatAM. I thought it was great when it was on, but it did bother me a bit that Sally and Co, were as I like to call them, fan characters. They weren't bad fan characters though, I liked the dark undertones the series had. Bunny was my favorite.
Underground was...erm, well there was bad and good...mostly bad.
The good: KNUCKLES! I was glad to see him make his cartoon debut. Though he was drawn really bad in some episodes.
I'm probably going to get hit with a rock for this, but I actually liked Manic as a character. He reminds me of Wakko Warner for some reason.
The bad: Where the hell was Tails? I want Tails, dammit! Did he die? Did he get robotosized? Did he get some poor fox girl pregnant and skip town to avoid having to pay child support? Where is he?
Siblings. When you introduce close family to a well-known character, you know you're going to have problems.
In this series, Sonic was often portrayed as incompetent. As I recall, he tended to screw things up a lot, and not in the usual confident way. And what was up with him running scared from Robotnik? Not the Sonic I know. They screwed up his character for this show.
The characters were just...plain...UGLY! That thing that took care of Manic when he was a baby, (Feral I think it's name was), that thing gave me nightmares! We're suppossed to be on Mobius guys, this is not Star Trek. What the f*** was that thing?! *shudders*
And finally, the fact that the series had nothing to do with anything, ever. Not (directly) based on SegaSonic, not a continuation of SatAM, it's like the concept was pulled out of someone's ass.
When I first watched this series, I liked it a lot. Recently I've taken a more critical approach to it and found some shortcommings. But when all is said and done, I'll enjoy just about anything Sonic-related. But some I'll like a lot more than others.
