When a thread gets to 11 pages it's just a bit too long ^^; . It kind of scares off the casual lurker you know?

The One Piece thread being too long is why I never really posted there....I got lost and didn't know what episode they were talking about...^^;; aheh...

Man, I hate how they just throw in pirate or nautical lingo whenever they please. Like on last sat's episode. "Captain, two ships starboard." Well, unless the ship was docked backwards, it was portside. Starboard is right, port is left. The pirate was pointing to the left. *Sigh* I really wish they would do it right

Maybe it was our right. Right? hmmm... why didn't Kuro kill Kaya? HE had no feelings for her when he smashed her gift to him. I'm glad they quit showing closeups of his zebra shoes. Man those things are ugly.
I thought the Zolo part on the oil slick was funny. And Luffy's part about dozing off was hilarious:
Nami: Why were you napping?
Luffy: (dumb look on his face) I don't know. I thought I was on top of the cliff!!!!
Ussop would be so cool if he didn't sound like a retard!!! Damn you 4kids for wrecking a perfectly good character again. I'm warning you, if you do this to Sanji then heads will roll!!!

i didn't get to see this weekend's epsode. i saw the begining part where ussop was telling kiya that zebra shoes was gonna kill her and that pirates were comming. my sister and gram were watching it too. my gram kept commenting that the animation was good and such and my sister said this about kiya.
sister: she's kinda pastey huh?
then we left at the part where the sheep guy was shooting at them. was it me or did it look like one of those rubber dart shooters?
Me: *wacthing the part where kiya smacks ussop*
*to self* omg 4kids showed someone smacking another person! *sarcastic note*

Well, I'm sure Naruto will be dubbed, since I read that 4kids has kidnapped the series.
I just hope Sanji doesn't sound like a clown.
I was just waiting for Ussop to start juggling.

I haven't seen the anime, I've only read the manga, and if the two are anything alike, then 4kids is really going to mess Naruto up.... Now back on topic, I can't say anything actually because One Piece is on too early for me, (stupid cable company moving time one hour back....>_O) I did see the episode with Ussop...but I had it on mute!! (I was on the computer  ) so I haven't heard his voice... |

Not to continue off topic resurie but I thought that I had read somewhere that 4kids has already purchased licensing for Naruto. I could be wrong about this.

Weekend before last there was a con in New York City. Why am I mentioning this? Because according to Narutofan.com's news page, it was announced there who got the rights to dub Naruto. However, they haven't followed up on that article with an announcement of who got the series....I'm praying for FUNimation, Bandai is just too impossible.... -Innle (Perhaps this should be retitled the "OH CRAP NARUTO"S GETTING LISCENSED" thread... ) |

Which is why I want Viz or FUNi to license the 1st Yu-Gi-Oh! series (the one that so far has not been licensed outside of Japan)
FUNi should get Naruto too.
