^^; A few things here... -Merry doesn't die (at least in the manga). He gets all bloody and stuff, but he still lives and Kaya runs down and finds him. -Moonwalker hypnotist guy is named Django/Jango. ^^; Merry doesn't die in the anime either. *is glad for Kaizoku-Fansubs* And where did they get "Django" from "Jango"? Anyway, a few...predictions... -Sanji will be stuck with a French accent(I won't mind if he uses food puns, since, well, in the original he does stuff like calling ladies "appetizers/side dishes/main dishes", has attack names based on food terms, etc.) -The pronounciation of "Baratie"(or however you spell it) will be butchered -Bye-bye Arlong Arc. Said arc gets so many cuts that it fits into 4 eps. -Gaimon will have SOMETHING done to him. Not sure what. -Mihawk will get stuck with a Spanish accent. -Zoro's backstory will get screwed up(namely, Koina will have "gone away", "moved", "disappered", or somethign similar instead of dieing) -4Kids sucessfully sets up e-mail filter to delete all mail containing the words "dub", "original", "hackjob", "censorship", "edit", and "uncut". |

Well, his name is katakana, and katakana is used for foriegn names. Eiichiro Oda's characters are not "Japanese", so Viz may have picked that spelling for stylistic reasons, or to "parody" a famous person. There is a musician named "Django Reinhardt". There is also a character in Spaghetti westerns named "Django", who dragged a coffin with a gatling gun. A french accent would fine with me, provided they had an actual Frech guy do the voice. Sanji speaking random French would be fun!

Having Sanji saying random french wouldn't be too bad although I thought it was weird when Zoe from Digimon 4 used random Italian in her otherwise american accent.

Okay, I did catch One Piece and I am still confused.
Man they can really pack an episode with filler can't they? When it ended I was like wait a minute. the story hardly progressed at all!!!
So was Kuro expecting Kaya to come after him? What sense does not killing her make? I don't want Kaya dead, but it just didn't make any sense.
Django's best men? XD Okay, the green haired guy freaked me out with his leg hair and his eyes. *shiver Nightmare fuel!! Was his voice the same as Butch from Pokemon. James' nemesis! The fat guy was just annoying. Just your token fat evil moronic sounding guy.
They cut out Zolo getting cut by the cats. I know they went through his shirt because a scene after you can see his chest through his shirt.
Merry did have blood on his face when he first got up when they were showing the shot through the busted glasses. Was it just me or was his bruises in different spots everytime they showed his face? O_0!!! XD

yeah i noticed blood on merri's face too when you saw the shot thru the glasses. i loved it when he went hmmmm like a sheep :-3 yeah those cat guys were freaky...ESPECISIALLY the leg hair. and sorry bro, i can't help you out with the questions you're stumped on  |

Was it just me or was his bruises in different spots everytime they showed his face? O_0!!! It could've been the fact you see him in the glasses, then um..not in the glasses. Since you know...how reflections are backwards...but I wasn't really paying attention so I could be wrong... Well, I finally got up and watched One Piece (I'll tell you the truth...I don't really enjoy it....I don't really know why....and for some reason...I don't really like the animation.....  ...please don't hurt me....*hides*) Since I finally saw it, I heard Ussops voice...XD *falls over laughing* Your right, that voice does suck! He sounds like someone off of Sesame Street XD Why is the Fox Box making such a big deal in the previews?! They made it seem like Luffy was going to hurt Nami, Zor--Zolo and Ussop! >_O!! Man, cats are my fav. animals, yo. But these guys...are just plain disturbing...(and annoying...)..-__- |
