For me it's on Jetix which is on ABC Family. (9:30 am) tomorrow. I've never seen it on Jetix on ABC but I have seen it on Jetix on Toon Disney channel

I dunno what the hell Jr. or Botan are talking about, but Jetix is Latin America's response to "Fox Kids" (and that's where I watch uncut Shaman King).
Heck, they even sell a magazine here called WITCH, it's a comic/wannabe manga... and it kinda reminds me of the artwork in that page.

I am talking about this. They do have Jetix in the U.S. as well! Some areas have it on a channel called ABC Family and if you have Toon Disney you can see it there too. That's where I watch my Digimon reruns. In my area fox doesn't own Jetix. Disney does.

WITCH is Jetix's take at Winx only with better animation. Stupid Jetix, you should get more anime *screams at Jetix to bring Medabots and Digimon back*

Winx was a project called Magical Bloom which was kind of scrapped until the summer after WITCH came out, then it picked up again with the name Winx Club and happened to be brought here to the US before the WITCH show.

I watched the 1 hour special, and let's just say, I'm kinda sceptical. It looks like a "not too bad" type of show, but I can see it going the way of the winx club at ANY time. That's my main concern. *winx club hater* So, my oppinion stands undecided, I'll have to see more of the series before I make a final judgement. *feels smart for using big words*
lol, you people are getting more messed up by the minute. Like reasurie said, Winx was dubbed by 4kids and airs on the fox box, and at least were I am, WITCH airs on ABC kids. Was WITCH dubbed by 4kids?

As I've pieced it together from surfing the net...
Kida is right.
Both Winx Club and WITCH are originally from Italy...both in comic form.
WITCH came first.
Disney is behind the WITCH cartoon, but I'm still at a loss as to why it's not up to their standards for animation quality...

Now would that Disney be Euro Disney, because I've never seen such a jump in style in one animation company. At least not one that didn't merit some form of an announcement. Also, I can't imagine one of the American Disney studios shipping a show from the US to Italy.

Now would that Disney be Euro Disney, because I've never seen such a jump in style in one animation company. At least not one that didn't merit some form of an announcement. Also, I can't imagine one of the American Disney studios shipping a show from the US to Italy. I meant whoever supervises the series. Disney has animation studios all over the world that are slowly thinning out since Eisner has gone mad. I know their Chinese studio was closed after they finished the Hefalump movie, and it sounds like the Australian studio is going to be shutdown in November, but that's a discussion for elsewhere. You can read up on the state of affairs at www.awn.com And now what I really wanted to talk about...So after the third episode the show got decent...they fixed the animation cycling issues...the voice actors got a little better...some of the dialog and scripting was still awkward and needed to be fixed, but I found myself following the show for their intelligent villains (ala Queen Beryl and the Generals, except these generals knew what they were doing) and their witty humor with the rebellion leader dealing with Earth culture and society. I am by no means praising the show, but it was becoming a staple of my Saturday morning diet. So anyways, the show has been pulled off of ABC Kids and moved to a night slot on Toon Disney right after the series pulled something crazy that makes me want to watch the show more: The girls had a normal friend that hung out with them on episodes but didn't know about their powers...in last weeks episode most of the girls were at a museum where they were pulled into an enchanted painting...chaos ensues, they escape with the painter, standard cartoon fantasy episode, EXCEPT at the very end of the episode they cut back to the painting and their normal friend is still trapped inside it! WOAH! For like, two hours last week, I was trying to figure out how she was pulled into the painting but in a way where you didn't remember her even being with them when it happened, and you forgot about her for the entire episode. I finally pieced it together...but it was an amazing sleight-of-hand that they did, and now I want to know what the ramifications are of a best friend who was kept in the dark about secret powers and was abandoned in a magical painting. If I were to write it out...she'd go villain, having been betrayed by her closest friends...but I'll never know what happens since I don't have access to digital cable! LC
