Kids Wb is premiering a pokemon movie on TV and not on DVD? This has to be a first. I know the WB has made and premiered movies before, but not an anime movie.
Does anyone know about this movie? It looks very interesting and I am sure to be watching it next week.

Sorry, I don't know much about it, but I found this to be a pretty strange decision myself. I just hope that because this movie is premeiring on Kid's WB rather than DVD that it won't be completely screwed up because Pokemon is one of the few half-decent English adaptions 4Kids has produced. Even though they completely changed all the music for the first three Pokemon movies' English adaptions, the new music sounded really good IMO (aside from the annoying pop songs), and they actually kept the Japanese music for Pokemon movies four through six. So, I'm hoping that either 4Kids will still keep the Japanese music (which would be more preferable), or if they change the music that it sounds as good as the musical score from the first three movies because there's no telling what's going to happen to a Pokemon movie if it premieres on Kid's WB instead of theaters or DVD.

All i know is that it's about a comet bearing a deadly Pokemon creature crash-lands onto Earth, terrorising a nearby high-tech city, where Ash, Pikachu and friends are currently visiting... That's the basic plot, i don't know anything else.  |

Hey i heard from my sources gnobe (not sure of spelling) AKA Munchlax in the new american Pokemon games Pearl and Diamond, and also he might used this dubbed name in this new movie.
I also heard but i pretty sure it's false that Ash's coworkers (lol) i mean friends arent in this movie.....;D

Yeah, i can't wait for pearl and diamond. But all i know about it is that it's under development. And without my friends (hahah...) in the movie it just wouldn't be Pokemon. On the cover there aren't any of his friends though, so i don't know. Unless that new random kid it shows with blue hair is somewhere else i nthe series but i doubt it, i've seen every episode.
