This is a thought I had: Shonen Jump TV! It would TOTALLY beat 4KidsTV.

First off, like Mr. Lobster said, they would have to get the rights from 4kids and other companies.
Secondly, an anime using Shonen Jump's name is just...wrong. Why? Shounen Jump didn't create the anime, nor are they the ones translating them. (Viz are the ones who translate most of the manga in SJ)
And sometimes, the translations...aren't always correct. At least 4kids kept 'furyoku'. Viz goes off and calls it 'mana'. 0_o
But if you mean uncut by "Japanese audio with subtitles". I still don't think it would be a good idea.
And I honestly don't think it would beat 4KidsTV...
Sorry if I sounded a bit mean...but yeah...'no' for me too...*click*

I think they used "Mana" rather than "furyoku" because it's a shorter word by 4 letters.... Ok now even that dosen't make sence to me anymore... but going back on topid, it might would be a good thing but then again it could turn out to be the same thing 4-kids is. and we don't another evil company. XD |

I said no because I think it's an overall bad idea...and my other thought would be, would Shounen Jump even have enough series to have an entire 24/7 channel full of anime?

i don't really care...cuz i don't have cable TV!! But ya, SJ would have about 20 (or less) series connected to it - hardly enough for a full-time channel.

1. A supernatural force believed to dwell in a person or sacred object.
2. Power; authority."furyoku" which isn't really a common Japanese word anyways. From what I've been told. So, as "mana" isn't really a common english word... well... it sort of works. Anyways, for this poll I voted "I don't care". I don't like ALL shounen Jump comics and shows and it's not like they all have anime anyways. Add to that the fact that 4kids.tv is actually TRYING to aquire more shounen Jump stuff. It's just... a "shounen Jump" chanel or uncut viewing block doesn't seem very likely to happen. |
