any Gundam Seed fans ou there?

Hey, I was wondering If anyone watches Gundam Seed. It is one of my personal favorites as far as animes go, and one of the best dubs I've seen (since it passes at night). Here it plays at 9:30 on YTV.

Unlinke Shaman King it's a very serious, very realistic type of anime, (example: In SK there are often face exressions, very mad= bigh white eyes, very sad=a flow of tears, in GS you wont see this, it's more realistic)

Anyhow, does anyone whatch this?

I love G SEED. Even if it does kill off several of my favorite characters. I can't wait for G SEED Destiny.

Yes, actually, I've seen most of this series, the original.. only a few episodes in the begening that I missed. I'm also interested in GS desteny, I've hear about it... its a kind of sequel I think?

Hmmm this week it was.. uhhh oh yes, Zaft atacks, (or vice versa) anyhow.. the first time I saw the end I was like OMG!!!! Whats going to happen?!?!?!
Since they only show I episode a week, I fot impatient and started watching the original (like I did for Inuyasha) I finished it since there's only 50 eps... But honnestly... one of the best animes out there... actually it's really good even here... there's blood and sex and stuff!!! muahaahahah!!! (ok we don't see the sex butttt they say it... (not the word sex... but they imply it) and blood exists!!!) Also... since there are world events... unlinke The dubbed SK, we now know, there are different countries in the world!!

GSD is in deed a direct sequel. Heard that it's really good.

I have seen all of Gundam SEED through fansubs back before the series was licensed and I generally liked it expcet for the fact that it was too political at times, and politics tend to bore me after a while. I also thought it had way too many recap episodes. I remember that at one point in the series they had about five recaps in a row. That was just ridicilous. My favorite character is Andy and my least favorite character is Fray. Personally, I don't think Destiny looks very interesting. From what I've heard, not a lot of people seem to like it.

I hear you on those recaps. There was one shortly before Nicol died with one of the guys from TM Revolution doing the voice over. The only purpose the ep served was to promote Meteor. Then immediately after that, eighty percent clip show aired. And though it had some point, the point was completely nullified because we'd just seen a clip show.

Let's hope Destiny doesn't have that.

I love Gundam SEED. The dub's good...aside from the DISCO GUNS. @_@

It's a shame that GS got moved to the graveyard hours, because the first half really wasn't as good as what the secondhalf is shaping up to be.

I think that too, but with G SEED Destiny, the second half feels incomplete.

Have you guys heard some of the music from GSD? You have to hear Promise Land, that song is good. And Fields of Hope (it's one of "Lacus'" songs).

the first episode of any gundam series i saw was the first episode of Gundam Seed Destiny, and i thought that was one of the worst pieces of anime i've ever seen, and it takes a lot for me to dislike an anime...

however, i'll refrain from flaming the entire series, since i realize it was a sequel. It did, however, spoil the entire series for me. It'll take a lot to get me to start watching any Gundam now.

although...the first ending song for GSD, Reason by Nami Tamaki, is AWESOME! I heard of it before i even watched the episode, and i only watched the ep because of that song

Now, now. I'll have you know that not all Gundam series are created equal... You should try 08th MS Team, Gundam Wing, I dunno some other Gundam series before generalizing.

I have Reason burned on CD, but I never listened to it.

Does anyone know if Destiny will be lincensed soon? I heard there could possibly be an announcement made near/at the end of G SEED.

ya, i kno i shouldnt judge all the series from just one...it's just that i never was interested in the Gundam concept. (truth is, i never really liked mecha anime other than Eva and Escaflowne, and Eva shouldnt really even count) Destiny seemed to be the only one that appealed to me, so i willed myself to try it out. That failed.

A lot of my friends really liked Gundam Wing, so i guess ill check that out when i....really...have time.

I think someone with a boxset is needed for that. Or you could try a fansite if you're just looking for a list, but they're not gonna have exact episodes.

And did you see the ending?! Excellent, but I like the OVA ending better. But I did cry with Athrun and Kira. And I still hate Cagalli.
