After watching this, I have to say that TMM isn't that bad, no matter how embarassing that sounds coming from my mouth.

MMP > Winx

I'm surprised 4kids has two girly shows on the block. If you had to get rid of one of them, I think you know what one I'd pick.

I was a bit depressed byt the premier. My wife couldn't even watch the whole thing, and I was okay until about the 7845th time they stuck the word mew into a sentence. that was about 10min. in right?

Anyway, I don't mind the names except for MiniMew. (So full of HATE....)

I'll try the next episode out because it's actually supposed to be the first episode this time right?

I missed the premiere last week, but I saw the first episode of MMP today and it was awful. I hated the names and music changes, and I couldn't stand the awful English VAs, especially Masaya's who sounded way too old for his character. I miss my Ogata-san! They also changed the personalities of Ichigo's friends to make them more rude. At one point they even called her a freak! Yeah, 4Kids, that's a great way to teach kids about friendship (sarcasm). And why did they cut out the scene where the cat enters Ichigo's body? What was so bad about that? It's not any worse than the transformation sequences. Overall, I was pretty disappointed in this dub. TMM was already safe for kids to begin with, but 4Kids still manages to screw it up. What happened to the days when they actually put some effort into producing a semi-quality dub like Pokemon? Here's hoping for an official uncut DVD release.

Pfft, I know. I was shouting: Where's the cat!? Why isn't she merging with the cat!? Some little kids are going to be so confused...

Also, the edited out the shadows on her body when she transforms...sorta looks like she's wearing a leotard?

Zoey/Zoe/bah's voice is. so. annoying. ><! I mean...It didn't bother me in the premiere...but now...ugh...it sounds...><

And yes, her friends are jerks in english. XD Such friendship...and all that dating talk....that couldn't have been in the original....0_o or was it?

Well the names suck we know that. As for the story itself at least there kind of focusing on the save the enviroment part. I can't think how much the story got changed from when i read the manga.

I've seen the fandub, good job on the script by the way Kida!, and the fandub was better of course. But I can stand the 4Kids dub.

Oh, thank you. ^^ But all I did was just type down the subtitles from the fansub. It took a long time, though. x-x;

I really like the theme song. It has gotten a hold of me. I was humming the melody for about an hour after the show was over.

I liked this episode a lot better than the premier. Just get rid of the mew mew crap.

They did a great job of not putting mew into every word that would fit. And they never said MiniMew. I will hate every episode that they mention that name.

Yes, the theme song is awesome! I want it!

It's good to see that they laid off the Mew puns, but the cat puns were equally as bad. "How are you feline?" -_- They could have made her make a cat noise after each sentence, as that's what she did in the Japanese version~nya!

Well, at least Mark didn't sound as bad this episode. I certainly hope he gets better as the episodes go on. Next week we meet Aizawa Minto/Corina Bucksworth.

Um, yeah, that was a rather important part they cut out. I'm assuming the demographic that 4Kids are targeting here is "tween" girls. Cutting out the scene with the cat is going to confuse the little girls. So now she has cat ears and a tail.......and we don't know why! Sure you saw the DNA protein chains on the computer screen (GATACAT, etc.), but little girls aren't going to even know what those mean.

OH my ears!! That is so bad!! I mean I really don't mind the show too much! I can get past Minimew (what an awful name), but the music makes up for SOME of the more obvious edits I believe (never seen original).

Any thoughts? This post can be a shrine of hate for the lyrics I just typed!! XD
