Since Mew Mew Power (I'm using the dub name, yes) is premiering tomorrow, I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread for it, for all of you to discuss it. Sort of like the One Piece thread. The other thread is already 4 pages in, and well...not talking about the dub...because we haven't seen it...XD
Hence, the reason I made this thread. I asked Lovely in a PM, but I didn't get to her in time. Damn. XD So if she wants to lock it, I don't mind.
I myself am looking forward to seeing it. ^_^ Even if it's the dub. Kida can tell us if there's any changes. XD So um...discuss away!

Do you know what time it might be coming on? Although...it prolly won't help me any, seeing as I get all the previously-foxbox-but-now-4kidstv shows on Sunday rather than Saturday... (Btw, what happened to your manga really sucks. I'd rip my brother's head off if he did that...and he would, deliberatly too. He hates Japan  and that makes me angry in of itself) |

all i can say is that im loving it so far (even thou it's a dub) elliot is my fave, and the bad guy is voiced by the same guy as len! i laughed out loud when they said kiki was a moneky because i have this chara that has a pet monkey named kiki XD
another thing that kinda freaked me out was that westly looks a lot like my partner. this show knows about my life!

Dub names:Okay
Dub voices:BAD!!! >:(
I hate Kish's voice.It's cheesy and it doesn't suit his personaitlally.
Also Keiichiro's voice does not suit him that well,but Pudding's voice kinda fit her.Most of the girls did have Valley Girl voices but they got toned down at the end so it's okay so far.
Okay some of them fit them but some of them didn't so we'll see what happens.
Also MiniMew's voice was super and uber cute!!! ;DIt was so kawii,I couldn't stand it!
EDIT:Really?The guy who plays Kish is the same dub VA as Ren from SK?I did not know that.But it really didn't sound like Ren when he was on.It was kinda higher voice then Ren's or I just didn't notice it.
EDIT#2:I'm still gonna watch it because I love the manga and I wanted to see the series.It's still cute to me.#nosmileys#nosmileys

I actually like the dub names and the voices. What i really hated was that it started at episode 12!!!!!! Thats f'ing retarded! What is the point of that seriously?

OH…MY…GOD… 0_0 That made no sense to me at all 0.0 eppy 12 0_o I get confused easily but that was very confusing A few parts made me laugh a bit but other wise 0_o and  explains my face the whole time. It’s like when they introduced Mon Colle knights with the (5th episode I think) Rather than the first. 0_0 The voices might give me night mares for a very long time, I’ve never really been into Mew mew but I could tell the voices weren’t normal. Looks like it might be another Anime going down the to the depths of having it’s reputation ruined… again. Poor Anime . I cannot allow myself to get obsessed with another Anime… but…it’s so… (Here comes another anime obsession) XD |
