i thought it was "no doubt, what he can do" i suck at translating lyrics anyway. but i agree, that sonic had to have been the best one out there.

Wow! So many Sonic fans!
*checks the episodes that she recorded* Ashil, I believe that the words are "don't doubt what he can do."
Evil Robotnik rocks!!! This guy was an evil dude! I wanted to hurt that guy so bad all those years ago, I wanted to throw him in his own Roboticizer and turn it on. The Sonic X Eggman doesn't compare, to me... he's on the same level as Team Rocket from Pokemon. A nuisance that the good guys sometimes join forces with.

Yeah, Freedom Fighters Robotnik was so damn evil, in fact, he didn't even look like the original Robotnik, and niether did that those other two disgusting looking ones. I guess they wanted to make him look more evil. Damn, now I'm in the mood to play some Sonic games, both old and new.

No Robotnik/Eggman will ever be able to compare with the Freedom Fighters Robotnik! Although the comic Robotnik did come close... but he lost it and just became a pain in the rear. That's what I was hoping Sonic X was going to feature... an Eggman more evil than Freedom Fighters. Excuse me, there's an episode of Sonic Freedom Fighters, some old Archie Sonic comics, and the PS2 Sonic Heroes game calling my name!

I was an idiiot when I was a kid, I was going to buy a Sonic tape, but I had to choose between FF and AOSTH. I saw the cover of the AOSTH, and it was Sonic coming out of an egg, I said "this must have the episode where Sonic is born!" (What a f**king idiot) I bought that one (God why?!) and it was just a stupid episode where Sonic gets turned to stone, and doesn't even take an egg shape. I regret that to this day. Wasn't Fredom Fighters supposed to come out on DVD a long time ago?

Hmm... personally I wouldn't mind a new manga series..
I would like to see one start from the beginning with art similar to (but not exactly like) the Sonic 1 art and then have it progress to today to show how Sonic "ages".
Oh, and Eggman should actually be evil in this one.
Also, some other plot elements, when needed, should be added, as I do not want to feel like I am "reading" a video game.

I was always disappointed with the way Sonic X was carried out, that I wanted to do my own fan manga of the Sonic Adventure series, except make it totally loyal to the video game, no retarded filler characters to ruin it.

Now, I can understand it being "loyal" (and it is more important for that section to be loyal as many parts of the story are already fleshed out) in this area. However, it should be fleshed out a bit more just so there is actual story and character development.
Read Kevin Rodriguez' review on Beet the Vandel Buster to see why one should make sure it doesn't "read like a video game".

Of course there should be character development, that's one of the most important qualities an anime/manga needs. I meant staying loyal to the games without having stupid storylines, and horrible human characters, it seems they always kill shows with those.

Out of the 5 Sonic programs, I'd have to say that, like most of the rest of you, I believe that SatAM was the best. The worst is definitely the original anime version, the movie/OAV. I mean... they call Knuckles an anteater or an ardvaark or something (it's not an Echidna, I know that... even in the Japanese version). Sonic X is the second best. AoStH wasn't that great, and Underground messed with the story too much. For those interested, the comics are actually an amalgam of SatAM and Adventures, hence the style and story. I'll have to go find that website with the full explaination of it again. Here's a good site for SatAM: www.satamsonic.com/index.phpI'll edit this once my download of the OP finishes, so I can get the lyrics.

Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube for the US has the backstory on this as well as scans of about 100 covers. I'm going from memory on this; but Archie Comics was approached by Sega to only do 7 issues based off of the daytime series to promote it. AC quickly found out that kids were more attracted to the SatAm version and started pulling in that direction with the comic. The comic was so popular that the 7 issues turned into the current running series, which is great for Archie Comics...good business! I've mentioned it before on here somewhere but SatAm was my favorite...at the time I hated daytime (Underground never aired in my area)...DIC used to have a clip of daytime on their site...2 years ago I watched it and it was pretty funny to me then. I was a Bunny Rabbot and Uncle Chuck fan...I must've been into robots or cybernetics at the time, dunno... LC

Like Sanji, I too wanted to create my own fan series for Sonic the Hedgehog... and the need to do that doubled when I saw the first episode of Sonic X. However, the human characters can't be cut out completely (remember Robotnik/Eggman and Maria are both humans and important to the story). Oh, yeah... 4Kids is doing another season of Sonic X . Haven't they killed it enough?! I was actually happy since I thought that the "Sonic returning to his world" thing was the last episode. Guess I was wrong... Now we'll have to put up with more of 4Kids' insults to the Sonic Universe.

Do you actually think I would of cut out Robotnik and Maria? HELL NO, I mean crappy ass characters like the entire Chris family association.
When I saw the season 3 preview, I was like good god, they're doing gundam now. And I thought the Tornado X was pushing it.
