Rurouni Kenshin DVDs have outtakes, which are pretty funny. Basically, just them messing up their lines. "Flinga-dinga-ding..."

The outtakes on Rurouni Kenshin are funny! I got Battle under the Moon (the one where Kenshin first turns Batttousai-ish) and Sano's VA starting cussing and stuff. XD

There's an outtake on one of the InuYasha DVDs... forgot which one...
But if you check the Digital Omake list on AnimeonDVD.com, you can find a bunch of them.

Are the out-takes on these DVDs like Eastereggs, or is there an option for out-takes?
I might know... something like this if I understand right. On (one that I know of) the Fruits Basket DVDs, there is an Easteregg that is a still shot from the show with an English dub song playing in the background, and every now and then the English VAs say something... weird...
Is that what this sort of thing is of which we speak?

If you've ever seen... oh, what was it... A Bug's Life? Usually they're just re-dubbed scenes (meaning they're usually US only) with silly dialogue. Sometimes they're Easter Eggs (which implies they're hidden), and sometimes they're not, like the one I just remembered on Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness) volume 3. Go into the Extras, and you can watch Episode 7 with pop-up video... it's very amusing.
Tsuzuki is surrounded by treats. Hisoka is watching him.
Tsuzuki: "I'm in Heaven!"
Pop Up: "No he's not"
Pop Up: "But he is dead"
Pop Up: *points at Hisoka* "He's dead, too"

Oh, yeah, I remember that. "Ah, I'm sure that Kenshin is- Oh, f-*bleeep!*" The thing about that outtake was that you could still hear the word if you tried hard enough. They really only bleep out the "uh" sound. That one had me laughing forever |
