There have been some times where she's staring at me and I'm expecting her to pull out a knife from her backpack...*cough* SKYA, you talk smack to her? That's funny. My sister used to do that. Or scream at her for taking too long to find something...

Eee, Dora, my baby half-brother watches it. I think saying "Swiper, no swiping!" should be about as effective as "Theif! Don't steal!" Anyways, I've seen the show a few times. Cant remember the dude's name, Pedro, right? (correct me if I'm making an ass out of myself)

Is this thread a...joke? When it comes to Dora, that's probably as kiddie as it gets. Heck, my seven-year-old sister hasn't watched the show since she was four. Renna J, I can understand you not wanting to see nudity or gore, but that doesn't mean you have to watch shows intended for preschoolers.
I can't watch Dora. It'll give me cancer.

Actually, No. This is not a joke. I don't think anyone was joking when they posted on this thread. And don't worry, I watch other shows that are age appropriate. By the way, I don't know you. It's nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you as well. I assumed it was a joke, because it's in the "Anime on TV" section but it's a cartoon. That, and the fact that I don't know many people over the age of five that watch it. ^^;
Dora isn't my thing, really. It works for preschoolers, but when I watch it, the comments make the show seem like it's trying to insult the viewer's intelligence.

Yes, it's in this section because threads about all shows on television (anime and non) that are not Mankin are put here. Dora's not for everyone, which is another purpose of this thread. You would be surprised how many people over the age of five watch the show, (everyone on this thread is 14 and up) and some watch it regularly. She seems insulting because she talks slowly. Many people react that way to the show, and then again, many people like it. The great thing about it is that you won't loose out on anything if you don't watch it and you won't loose brain cells if you do.

Yeah, the only kids show where you have to worry about shedding of brain cells would have to be Teletubbies.

My god, Teletubbies have subliminal messages. Either that, or the people who made it were on... an allergy medication or something. I really don't like Dora that much. Shoot, my cousin and I make fun of how they do the "Vamanous" song. Dora: Where are we going? Me and him: TO THE BRIDGE! D: Where are we going? MC: To the bridge! D: Where are we going? MC:... to the bridge.... T.T D: WHERE ARE WE GOIN? MC: TO THE BRIDGE ALREADY!!!! >_<
Yeah, we are psycho sometimes, but Dora just doesn't know the fine line between a pep rally and being annoying. I also think her stare of silence is creepy... o.o

That reminds me - Dora wouldn't do so well in a bank robbery..
"No swiping!" - Gunfire and silence would follow that.
