Who's up for a Fan Dub?

Hey guys. Some of you over at Arlong Park probably already know this, but some guys (including me ;D) are organizing a One Piece Fan Dub to counter the horrible real dub. if anyone is interested please come here: ap.animemedia.org/showthread.php?t=3627

Just so you know here are the roles we're looking for for now:
Luffy (woman with high pitch voice)
Alvida (woman who can go from gruff to sexy)
Mayor Boodle (will also probably be the mayor in Luffy's village) (man with proud dignified voice)
Merry: (man with a voice a lot like the dub (since that's one of their few good voices in my opinion))
Usopp: (man who can go from real cowardly to really brave and everything in between)

Anyway so if a character you would like to play is not on this list feel free to audition anyway and you can play extras til we get that far.

Yeah so please audition we are in desperate need of voices!!!! Oh and by the way post any auditions you have in the link I gave you or else the boss will get mad.

Well, It hasn't been moved so far, so I think you got this in the right section. ^_^

Anyways, this sounds pretty cool. Out of the list you have so far, I'd happily try out for either Merry or Usopp.

Just exactly how do we go about auditioning though? Should we E-mail samples to you or anything like that?

Alright what you should do is make the file (I'll give you some lines) and then put on YouSendIt.com and post it in that thread I gave a link too.

Anyway some lines for Usopp: (laughing) I am the leader of the great pirate crew that conquered this village, Usopp! Everyone praises me and addresses me ad, the great captain Usopp! If you think you can attack my village, don't! Otherwise my 80 million men will crush your body like a little bug!
If you need a sound clip just ask and I'll be happy to supply it. Thanks a lot by the way we really need an Usopp.

Hmmm... I may not have a high pitched voice, but I think that it might be fun to play as Luffy.

Oh yeah that'd be great if you could play as Luffy and even if you aren't chosen for Luffy we'd still appreciate your voice talent. But make sure you have the dedication to play Luffy (call us crazy but we're planning on dubbing the entire series except maybe filler, but that's still unconfirmed).

HUH. Not bad!
I was expecting a voice to be ah... not so good, but it wasn't bad at all ^^. Is the VA a boy or a girl? (Probably a girl, but years of anime watching in both english and Japanese has made me unable to tell the difference anymore ._. .)
