More Christians should commit suicide. Gets them out of my hair later on. Now THAT hurts. I'm hoping you didn't really mean that...

I don't mean to offend anyone at all in this reply, but this is how I feel, and I'm sorry if it hurts anyone.
People who blame anime and games etc. are usually negligent parents. They don't take notice of their child's well-being, until it is much too late. For all we know, Lorenzo could have been bullied traumatically, and tried to tell his parents, who ignored him, or didn't care... The dice incident could have been his excuse to kill himself.
People who blame anime and games etc. are usually "vulnerable", or more likely feeling guilty about their stupidity or negligence. Thoughts going through Mrs. Jackson's head could have been "Why did I leave him alone with his brothers? No, wait, it isn't my fault..." It's basic psychology that people have such hard times admitting their own mistakes and foolishness, so come up with any excuse to make it not their own fault. Games and anime are the typical victim of fault for killings.
Why people have to come up with terrible excuses, on things that bring joy, just so they can relieve blame off of themselves, is beyond me. A lot of the time, the parents are to blame.

I agree with Saturn. ME-Tan. I happen to have many Christian family memebers and would like it if they lived thank you very much!!
Although I do agree with your other comment. Why was this 11-year-old boy left alone to watch not one but two kids younger than him?
The father was coming home from North Carolina? What the hell does that mean? He could be in Virginia for all we know. The mother was obviously negligent and why they haven't pressed charges for child endangering because, yes as "mature" as Lorenzo was he too was a child, is beyond me.
My brother and I were left alone at our home during summer vacation when we were in our preteens and we turned out just fine.
Oh yeah, I didn't have any evil satanic dice controlling my mind. Man was I lucky!! XD

What a dumb bitch, seems like these moms will blame anything other than themselves.
That kid is just a moron, the show (dubbed version at least) has nothing to do with Russian Rhoulette and suicide. The card game has nothing that inspires this either.
The mother is just stupid, how about you just take your kid's TV's, toys, video games, and everything else, so then if they commit suidide, the only thing you can blame is yourself.

Btw, My sistrer stabbed me with a carving knife once when she lost a Pokemon card game with me. Damn those evil pokemon cards. What's with all the stabbing? o_0 Man...and I thought guns were the problem in the states...(I know they are...I'm just...um...wording things in a weird way...). Where'd she stab you by the way? And...a carving knife? Was it sharp? I mean...made of metal? All the carving knives I used to have were neon orange and made of plastic. @_@

I'm seeing a pattern here witrh the babysitting thing, does anyone else think it's Christian conditiong? I do. More Christians should commit suicide. Gets them out of my hair later on. Now that dice idea is just creative. s. Since when does this babysitting thing have anything to do with Christianity? When was Christanity ever even a part of this incident? As a Christian, I felt very offended by your statement. I wasn't aware I was ever "getting into your hair". It's not like your hair is worth "getting into", anyway. As for what happened to this kid, perhaps he had a problem with losing? Or maybe he actually wasn't happy with having to babysit his brothers all the time and only pretended to be in front of his parents because he would be grounded if he didn't do it? Or maybe he had that disorder where you hear voices in your head? Whatever the case it was, the mother needs to calm down and think about all the possiblities of what could've happened because pointing fingers at a piece of cardboard isn't going to make her situation any better.

I feel bad for the mother who lost her child and all, but I can't cut her any slack for her bad judgement on leaving him alone with those two little kids. my mom wouldn't let me stay home with my siblings until I was almost 14.

Way to stick your foot in your mouth, ME-tan...you've taken a very LARGE demographic, and probably based them off of a few specific individuals you've dealt with in life...it'd be like me saying all SKU members must be retards when I've only interacted with yohsfan1. (and yeah, I am a Christian that's into D&D and anime...thanks for stereotyping the demographic...)
Kids'll do stupid things...especially the danger prone ones...in my really younger days I have: Jumped off of a two story building. (I was Spiderman!) Drank poison, not once, but twice by the age of 6. Cracked my head wide open on the fireplace doing backflips off of a flimsy cot. And drowned in a swimming pool.

I'm assuming that you just chose the wrong word when you said "drowned," for implies that you have died, but you really did all that? Now, as for ME-tan, i am also a Christian, but not from the so-called conspiring Southern conservative evangelical base [/politics]. although i seriously hope this is one of your eccentric conspiracy theories, i fail to see any connection between babysitting and christian conditioning. Conditioning to do what? Are you just trying to piss off as many majority groups as you can? Must you always pull some politically extreme gimmick? I consider myself one of those extreme liberals who likes to blame the evangelicals, but I at least try to make some valid connections.

Uhh... Am I the only one who didn't really care about ME-tan's Christian comment? XD I don't agree with her or anything (I go to a Catholic school), but honestly, you guys shouldn't take everything she says so seriously. No offense ME-tan.
Yeah...I just don't take anything seriously...>_>;
Since Lovely has put up that new rule...I think we should end the Christian conversation and get back to the suicidal kid...

Wait, yeah...fell in the swimming pool and inhaled too much water and my Dad fished me out...that's drowning right? Okay, so I wasn't past the point where I needed CPR...I couldn't swim and I wasn't getting air anymore...
But yeah, I've got a lumpy head from the cot incident, you just can't tell with my hair covering it up.
The poison was wayyy back...my Mom loves telling that story...parents love holding stuff over your head like that when your older and you don't remember...
And I was at this camp area probably when I was 8, and I leaped off this open balcony, "because I was Spiderman!" I got really lucky on that...hit soft ground where I landed and just sat there like a dope crying even though I wasn't broken...
So this is all stuff that a kid would do before the age of 10...kids are stupid!
I'm sure if you guys think about it or ask your parents you've got some awesome stories about doing something incredibly stupid...

And all this crazy stuff that happens in this world is just awful! Stabbings over card games or other nonsense, near death situitions,or other crazy things.
Oy I sound like a mother! I'm still young!!Oh and what kind of mother leaves her kids py themselfs. My mom left us with a babysitter intill I was 13.But I only watch my little brother and sister because I can't handle kids. They don't listen to me!
Anyway,we live in a messed up world and this was a terriable thing that happen but don't blame anime and card games or a mixture of the two for bad things!

Being an atheist, I don't really find offence with ME-tan's Christian statement, because I believe that she was only referring to the fundamentalist Harry-Potter hating soccer mom Christians, or those annoying Christians who try preaching to you ALL THE TIME *coughBennicough*
But I agree, that Lorenzo kid is a complete idiot. It's sad that kids like this give great games like Yu-Gi-Oh trashy reputations.

Well, what I really meant was "If you're going to blame your child's death on anime, which is from the devil, please shoot yourself, since you won't own up to being a bad parent and try to keep your remaining children from the doing thesame thing."
All the rest of you Christians can rest easy, just know I'll be there to free you from God's grasp soon.
Anime really is from Lucifer, he sent it to save us from God's arms. It's what released me from the false God's worshipers. But if I was going to kill myself, it would be because: 1.poverty 2.my sister 3. my looks 4. my parents.
That's why my mom has a job. So I can live. and that carving knife was metal, and she stabbed me in the side. But carving knife's are blunt ended. Just so ya know, I stabbed her with a screwdriver. A flathead. >_^ Just remember, you've been conditioned so that you'll be sceptical when you hear the word "conspiracy". Remember.
I know why he really killed himself. He went to public school, didn't he. They brainwashed him into it. Poor kid knew he was going to have to go to public school, or be uneducated. "Today, there are still 125 million children who never attend school. Another 150 million children of primary age start school, but drop out before they can read or write. Sixteen countries in sub-Saharan Africa (with almost half of Africa’s 6-11 year-olds) have suffered a decline in enrolment rates. Today, sub-Saharan Africa accounts for one-third of the total out-of-school population. On current trends, it will account for three-quarters of the total in 2015. One in four adults in the developing world – 872 million people – is illiterate, and the numbers are growing.
Global inequalities in the provision of education are enormous. Today, a child in Mozambique can expect to go to school for two to three years, with luck. A five-year-old European or North American child can expect to spend 17 years in formal education.
Girls account for two-thirds of the children not in school. Despite government commitments to close the gender gap, it is widening in many countries. For example, Ethiopia has one of the lowest rates of enrolment in the world, and one of the largest gender gaps. Fewer than one-third of 6-11 year old boys and one-tenth of girls are in school. In many schools in the developing world, the treatment of girls is tantamount to a system of apartheid."
See? The U.S government wants us to be like 3rd world countries, unable to go to school, or having to go and become SLAVES.

EvilMarcoCakes, I really don't care for your ramblings, but Lovely and Jr. think otherwise, and since it's now against rules to talk about religion and politics, I ask you to please stop hijacking threads with your ramblings...there's a reason Lovely locked your Macchi Temple...
Oh, and that thing about releasing us from God's grasp, and anime being from the devil, now that is going too far. Please enough with it, a lot of people tend to be insulted by it. ><
Seriously, enough with the religious talk. @_@ It's against the rules now, so enough with it please.
Oh, and I believe your sig is too tall.
