It's a good thing, considering their recent success with the Naruto dub. I hope they do a good job on this too, since it's airing on Adult Swim (at least it seems to be), I don't think we need to worry about too many language or violence edits, since there's alot.

Considering that Bleach has a very big fanbase in the US, I think Viz will know exactly how to treat the show. The Naruto dub was proof in of itself that they what kind of property they were dealing with, I think Bleach is gonna follow the same pattern.

I'm afraid that I may have spoke too soon, judging from alot of posts on the ANN forum, and this little snippet...
Still, the large fanbase rivaling that of Naruto, I can't see why they WOULD'NT bring the show to North America. We'll just have to wait for further information.

Well, if anyone's reading this, the English cast has been announced: Ichigo - Johnny Yong BoschWai wai wai wait.... I somehow do NOT see that happening. Especially since I saw in the credits of tonights Eureka 7 that he does the voice of Renton... That is odd... I haven't really heard either of these, so I don't know. Eh, Sakura's voice... It could work, we'll see. I see Stephanie Sheh as more of a Karin than an Orihime, but again, I trust Viz's decision. It kind of goes along with the Johnny Yong Bosch thing though, since she does Eureka on Eureka 7. Meh. Not sure about this one either, the only voice I've heard her do is Takeru (T.K.) from Digimon Adventure. We'll see... I somehow don't see Derek Stephen Prince as Ishida either, but whatever, I'm sure Viz made the right choice.

Man, everyone keeps associating JYB with ONLY Eureka 7. For the love of God, the man has a good range! Renton is only ONE of the voices that he does. Go back and watch Trigun (Vash the Stampede), Akira (Kaneda), and even Wolf's Rain (Kiba) for that matter.
Well, she has done a lot of voices, but I only really know Michelle Ruff from Lupin III (Fujiko) and Paranoia Agent (Tsukiko Sagi)
Don't know much about Patrick Seitz either, although I believe he's attending Otakon this year.
The more I think about it, It could really work.
Wendee Lee also has a big range as well, She also played Yahiko from Rurouni Kenshin and BlackRose from the .hack games.
Yeah, I was kinda hoping for Yuri Lowenthal myself, but we'll see what develops.
