I've been meaning to post this but do you think the site might need a Fan Art section (I'm not drawing, since i can't draw ). I don't mean here on the forums but on the actual site if you were thinking, since I know there is a Fan Stuff section. I've seen sites with Fan Art and Fan Fiction links on their website and maybe the members here could post some. Anyone agree with me?

Sorry, but I'd rather keep the site proper focused on simply the comparisons (for the most part.) Keeping up a fan art page would simply add to much work for me. Sorry.

Don't worry. I was just thinking about it since there was so many fan art pictures around. And I just thought of something. Wouldn't people steal it? Well, I won't stress you out. You don't have to do this.

Since this is fanfiction and fanart, I might as well post here. Might it be a good idea to have a rule against just typing "You called so-so the wrong name"? I just deleted my entire One Piece fic, because Sanji is Evets simply goes "You called him Zolo " That's harsh, to how I write. So what if I call him Zolo, instead of Zoro? So, what I'm saying is, could there be a rule that there's only constructive criticism for the fan stuff?

Why didn't you just EDIT it?

I don't think it was necessary that you had to remove the entire story because of a small comment like that. It doesn't sound like it came off as being mean. It looked like he was just sad that you used Zolo instead of Zoro. If it was that offensive to you maybe you should have just asked one of the mods to remove that post or talked to Sanji about it.
A rule that only asks for constructive critisism might be a little difficult to enforce. You could just ask for constructive critisism in your post. If people can't follow it then talk to a mod about having the post removed.
But I'll make sure the others see your suggestion for the rule though.

1- I read the comment. In no way was it offensive.
2- I'm not going to make any such rule just to protect the thin skinned.
He made a comment that was valid. Whether you figure his comment was constructive or not is entirely up to you.
Oh, and in MSword, replacing one word for another over the course of a long paper is incredibly easy to do. So that argument doesn't even make sense.

Well, I find it slightly offensive, because it shows that he actually only thought it was important that I used "Zolo" instead of "Zoro", instead of actually having any views on the story.
BTW, I deleted the story, in case any other people would come up with flaws to pick on.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I need to know how to post/upload a fanfic that was written somewhere other than on the board, like a floppy disk. Is that possible? (I hope this is the right place to post this question.)

Yeah, easily. You just need to open it, select it all then copy and paste it into the reply or new topic.

How do I paste a document in a topic? I'm not sure if I have to click on the hyperlink button or what. I want the whole story to show up without readers having to click on a link somewhere.

no, what I meant by copy and paste, I meant that you highlight all the text, right-click and select copy and then right-click again in the text-box on replys/new topics
