Site questions

I have two questions about this site. What's the limit for the height and width of images to use for avatars? Like, I've tried to use my own avatar, but it's too big, so I wanted to know what the right size should be, so I don't have to keep re-sizing it over and over again. Also, why do I sometimes get this message that says, "Invalid password/username", when I visit the forums? It always seems to happen whenever I leave the message board after logging in, so I have to wait for it to go away until I can post again.

For the first question, avatars at their largest must be 100x100. Any larger and it'll get resized.

As for the second, I honestly don't know what could be the problem. 0_o; Maybe Lovely does. Or it could just be proboards...once I tried to send a PM, but it didn't let me because it said I had written more than 500 words/letters/something when all I wrote was like 10. >>;

Thanks for the responses. Usually when I leave the forums I don't log out, but I tried logging out this time and when I went back to the forums a little bit later, I didn't get that error, so I think I just have to log out everytime I leave the forums.
