Bugs Bunny redesigned?

All a matter of opinion I suppose. I like both original, and .EXE designs personally, for different reasons. I think the robot Roll is much cuter for instance. I think people should wait and see, ^_^.

Bugs and Daffy head to the future
Warner Bros. is giving some of its most venerable stars a touch up.

According to reports in the Wall Street Journal, the studio plans to launch a new cartoon, "Loonatics," featuring futuristic, "re-imagined" versions of the classic Looney Tunes characters.

The cartoon will be set in the year 2772, and the characters will be on a spaceship, where they will be crime fighters, with each character having a special crime-fighting ability, the newspaper reports.

Although the roles and the names, such as "Buzz Bunny," will change, the new characters will retain personality quirks of their old-school counterparts.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the cartoon is Warner Bros.' way to bring a classic franchise into the awareness of younger viewers, putting the characters in a frame that they better understand.

According to the Journal, the original Looney Tunes will not be sent into "retirement" with the new cartoon. Instead, it is meant to compliment the original series of cartoons, especially in light of the last major project involving the original Looney Tunes, the box-office dud "Looney Tunes: Back in Action."

I saw this in the newspaper on Friday, I just didn't get the chance to come to the forum and post.
The article said Warner Bros. wanted it to look more 'cool' for the generation. The person who wrote the article didn't seem too happy about it.

Edit: Personally, I hate this! Bugs Bunny was the 1st cartoon I watched (I think).

...Seriously, that's what popped into my head when I saw the new Bugs design. What'd he do, convert to the Dark Side? Will he also wear a Darth Vader helmet?

Ugh, couldn't they have made a new rabbit instead of ruining Bugs? I never really liked Looney Tunes and related shows, but I can still tell when stuff has been ****ed up.

Taz:Uh, why are all the characters just black plus another color? It looks stupid...anyway, he looks evil as well, but Taz is supposed to look like that, well, at least more than the others are...

Daffy:He looks better than the others, but that's not saying much...Come to think of it, none of them have pupils in their eyes...O_o
