Hey, my name is Jesse and I'm a fifteen year old Shaman King addict. I've been into the series since the summer between seventh and eighth grade when I picked up a Shounen Jump while waiting for a flight out of Indiana. I instantly started to fangirl Amidamaru and decided I needed to look into this fandom more.
I bought the whole series in Japanese, but I didn't even watch all of it before deciding I was "too cool" for anime.
I gradually got back into anime when I started high school but I still left SK alone for some reason. It sat in my closet until about a month ago, when my friend and I were going up to Lake Tahoe and we knew we'd be spending most nights babysitting with nothing to do. I grabbed it and wiped the dust off, thinking maybe it would be okay for passing the time. Fast forward to the end of the (rather long) trip, and we'd nearly watched the whole series and both of us were rabidly obsessed. I went through the series going "Oh! I remember that!" and 'Wow, I forgot how cute (*insert character*) was."
So, in short, I'm returning to an older fandom with a much renewed interest. Hope to see all of you around!
