Legend of Zelda (videogame)

who here is a fan of The Legend of Zelda video games? I for one am somwhat of a zelda freak (i have all the games >< cept windwaker...resurie dont own a GC) My most favorite game would have to be Orcarina of Time. Majoras Mask was cool but was extremely annoying with the three day thing. Wind Waker was awsome too, but i couldnt beat the whole game...like i said, i dont own a GC...

anyhoo, any fans? ^^

Oh yes, I love Legend Of Zelda! Ocarina of Time is definatly the best, and I loved in Majora's Mask when you could turn into the Deku Scrub! But Ocarina of Time will always be the awsomest!!! ;D^-^

I've only played Ocarina of Time....and I still haven't finished it. I really like the game. I'm just usually terrible at getting around to finishing them.

The one for Super Nintendo was my favorite. At the time that game was so far advanced than anything else Nintendo had on the market...well, I guess you can say the same thing about Ocarina of Time, but I got bored with how Ocarina of Time was setup...maybe it was the puzzles, I dunno...it comes in at a close second.

I was very disappointed with the whole three day thing in Majora's Mask and how linear that game is to keep moving through...

Edit: On a side note Resurie, did you ever get to play the Zelda game for CD-I where you play as Zelda instead of Link?

windwaker is supreme!!! SUPREEEEEEME!!!

i loveh the windwaker, and half the games i own are on the GC *ocarana for GC, ocarana masterquest, majoras mask, windwaker, and the first two that were on the NES and SNES...*

total zelda FREAK. i just like the weird graphics in windwaker. and i cant get enough of the chibi link you look like!!! its suuuuuuu cuuuuuuuute!!!

I also like 'Little Link' ;D a lot of people didn't like him at first, but if you play the game, you'll see Link's new figure doesn't matter, since the graphics in the game are, and i quote a game magazine, "un-frickin-believable" especially whenever Link slashes his sword. I loved the part when Link was thrown against the wall XD, and the song those little "deku" (i forgot their names >< ) people played, with the violens and all was awsome XD

I forgot to mention, I also liked the first games a lot as well, and your right LC, they were more advanced than other games. The only thing that really bothered me was that whenever you entered an area, 50 monsters came out of nowhere and attacked you, >_O (ok maybe not 50 but it was a lot!)

Probably the Zelda games I least liked were the Oracle series. I didn't enjoy them that much...(plus I always had the urge to kill those little hooded people in 'Seasons' >< little &^&$&....and their stupid dance! ><!) The only thing was that Link was cuter in the Oracle series...well in my opinion....

I kind of Like link to the past and ocarina of time the same but for different reasons.

link to the past was classic. It took the original and made it awesome. I always was a fan of the overhead view like they did that.

Ocarina of time had a great story and I did like combat system. The only problem I had was getting rid of the z-targeting thing when two enemies are on you. If you hit z while fighting a single monster you can free yourslef, but more than ojne has you cycling through the enemies. The horse was the best thing ever. I also love the trading game thing they do in every game. Started in three and they kept it since.

Awseome titles and I really want a GC someday.

I love the Zelda games. I've always been a fan of them since the original Zelda and I always will be. My favorite of the Zelda games is Ocarina of Time. I love the storyline and characters in that game the best. It's also the only Zelda game I was ever able to beat. I had once came close to beating A Link To The Past, but then my SNES erased my game, so I had to start all over from the beginning. >< I love being able to play as adult Link in Ocarina Of Tme. That's always so cool, especially being able to ride on Epona.

Zelda was awesome in that game as well there at the end (don't worry; I won't spoil what happens for anyone who hasn't made it that far yet). My least favorite Zelda game is probably The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. I don't know what it is I didn't like about that game, but I guess it was because it didn't have the same feel as the other Zelda games did. Has anyone seen the trailer for the upcoming Zelda game? It looks so awesome and almost makes me wish I had a Gamecube...Also, does anyone remember the Zelda cartoon show? I have all the episodes on VCD and I love every minute of it. ^^

I know the cartoon! I downloaded it somewhere...dont remember though....XD It made me laugh whenever Link talked...don't knw why though...their voices made me cringe sometimes also...

I remember that show. I miss it so. It was on Super Mario Bros. What a goofy show that was.

I'm going off topic. I haven't seen the new game, but I've wanted a GC for a while.

I had to make a tough decision about PS2 or GC.

I wanted to keep playing Final Fantasy. Yes I know that's a lame reason, but that was my reason. And I wanted to strill be able to play my PSX titles as well.

With a DVD capability, I was hoooked on PS2. Now I can't afford a GC and I want my Zelda fix. >_<

CURSES! Our DSL provider is SBC Yahoo and they have like a bunch of old DIC cartoons on their site for viewing like Zelda, the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, etc...
