You get to post your favorite game for each system!
So none of this: Metroid Prime ties with Smash Bros. Melee ties with etc...for Gamecube stuff. You only get to declare ONE GAME per ONE SYSTEM. It'll be rough people, I understand, I'm already having problems writing my list...
If you've played more systems, you get to post more games. Unfair, but I'd like to hear what people remember from their older systems.
And to kill any arguments, add on systems can count as different systems. IE: Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X are three different systems and allow you to post three different games! ONE GAME per ONE SYSTEM.
And this bears repeating one more time before I begin:
ONE GAME per ONE SYSTEM.
NES: Friday the 13th Turbo Grafx 16: Splatterhouse Turbo Grafx CD / Duo: Ys Book 1 and 2 SNES: Super Castlevania IV Genesis: Gunstar Heros Sega CD: Silpheed Playstation: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Sega Saturn: Nights N64: Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness Dreamcast: Resident Evil: Code Veronica Gamecube: SSX3 Laserdisc: Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair Computer: Maniac Mansion

Genesis: Sonic 2Saturn: Astal (good God this game is gorgeous) Playstation: XenogearsPlaystation 2: Suikoden IIIGamecube: Tales of Symphonia (actually, I bought the system FOR this game ^^; . I don't actually own any other games for it yet. Baten Kaitos looks promising though...) Dreamcast: Grandia II (the existence of EVIL Lovely actually came about because of playing this game ^o^ .) Right, now I need to learn not to come to this forum when I'm working on an episode comparison ^^;.... DAMN IT LC! YOUR EVIL STRIKES AGAIN!!! -Lovely *who likes to blame others for her own follies* *EVIL* SIDENOTE: Oh yeah, I own a GBA SP, but I wouldn't call any of the games I have for it "favorite". (I own a Zelda game, Lunar and Golden Sun. Lunar was nothing new, though I enjoyed it. And Golden Sun just sucked . ) */EVIL*

Alrighty. LC I had to work on this for a while since you were in a very evil state by making post just one per system:
ATARI 2600: Haunted House NES: Legend of Zelda GAMEBOY: Zelda: Links Awakening SNES: Chrono Trigger GBA: Zelda: Link to the Past PS: Legend of Mana PS2: Xenosaga Ep.1 Der Wille Zur Macht SEGA GENSIS: Toejam & Earl SEGA CD: Lunar: The Silver Star N64: Super Smash Bros. (My wife and I still play that) PC: Neverwinter Nights
The PS2 one is hard since there are so many new games coming that I know I will love. I may have to edit this frequently. I had to think back at the games that have the most replay value. Those are the best games in my opinion. The ones that you played years ago, and could pick up today and have just as much fun as you did then. Zelda has always been that type of game to me.
Chrono Trigger was awesome because I loved how the battles happened on the field. No transition to static battle screens and where you were postioned affected the types of attacks you could use. And the new game+ allowed you to continue forever. I think my characters are in the lv.70's last I checked. I'm trying to find speed, power, and magic tabs to double star all their stats.
Toejam and Earl has to be the best coop game I have ever played. The presents that affected you in very strange ways was the most inventive thing I have ever witnessed. From a creative standpoint, Toejam & Earl is the best game ever. I will stand by my comment. The mixture of difficulty, fun, and comedy is perfect. And with a splitscreen, you are not tied to your friend with invisible rope. Complete freedom. And you can fall off the world. (NOT ROCKET SKATES!!!!) Toejam: Bummer!
