I've seen some threads on favourite games but what about the consoles (not sure if they're called that though... ) I don't really know that many consoles, so I just put the ones I own right now (except my Dreamcast, I don't have it anymore...).

You may have been better to put companies than using so many choices with specific consoles. But I guess that allows us to be specific too.
I guess I'll go with PS2. I don't have much experience with the others.

whoo! DreamCast! (voted for it) DC was such a fun system, I really like it, I seriously wonder why they stopped it's production...it was good....right? I know Sega is part of Nintendo now...o_0 (am I right one that? I'm not keen on these things...) but still, why didn't they just compete like all the other consoles! T_T, I want more DC games...but you can't find any good ones anymore...>_O

I don't have a favorite console, simply because I go where the RPG's are.
Back in the day I bought into that whole "console loyalty" and console wars crap. And it just got ridiculous. So, as I said, I go with the systems that have games I like. Oh, and I have a GBAsp for some reason ^_~ (it's cuteness tricked me!!!)
*currently owns a PS, Saturn, Dreamcast, Gamegear,(the dead guys XD . Don't really play them anymore, though I might pick up the Dreamcast again someday. ) PS2, Gamecube, and a GBAsp ^_^ . I used to own a genesis back in the day (the system I was "loyal" too) but later I traded it in.

Y'know, you can always just vote for the console that you think has the best games. But it's your own opinion. I think I forgot Xbox...

i chose good ole PS2. though i do find the gba to be a very "handy" console to have. if the power goes out, you have gba, if you're stuck at a place and need something to do, gba will be there! unless you forgot it at home coughashilcough

Actually, maybe I should vote too. And also, yeah, the GBA is good. I play it most of the time (...must... finish Zelda: the Minish... Cap...). I also play Gamecube - whenever I'm not on the Internet or watching TV. ... I went really off topic...

wow, how could u guys 4get xbox??!! lol, even tho it suks and has like, only three good exclusive-non-sports/racing games
i dunno, the reason DC was cut was because no one really liked it, and Sega gave up. Sega believed that it would simply make greater profits in the software industry. Dreamcast's sales were really low considering the fact that it was the first new generation console of 2000. Sega is not really part of Nintendo right now, but they have some sort of partnership with each other that Sega will produce games for GameCube and GBA more, even though some games, such as Sonic Heroes, came out on all three.
i voted for gamecube simply because it has the most quality exclusive titles out of all three systems.
so...what happened to Nintendo DS?

so...what happened to Nintendo DS? Sorry... I don't own that. It hasn't been released in Europe yet so I only know about it (it looks good though! I just put the consoles I owned... didn't I mention that in the beginning post? Also, that is why there is the 'other' section.

Thorugout my life, I've gotten many systems. I have: NES, Sega Genesis, Gameboy, GameGear, PS1, N64, Gameboy Color, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube, GBA, XBox, and GBAsp. I can't choose my favorite.

Finally, I voted! I picked GameBoy Advance (I've got a SP as well It's just so handy and when I'm bored I can just turn it on while turning on my Gamecube is much more hassle. Yay! I'm a Shaman-in-Training!

Ummm... you guys are aware that Gameboy, Gamegear, DS, Nomad, etc., are not console systems, right? A console is something that hooks up to your TV (as in a VCR console, DVD console, etc). Those are portable systems... a computer isn't a console system, either...
no... you can't tell I worked at a game store for too long...

Hmmm... So I guess a more apropriate title for this thread would be "favorite gaming system" then? Y'know, you can always just vote for the console that you think has the best games. Nah, I like to be a pain .
