Anyone else ever play any of this series? I've played all of them. Blood Omen was probably the first game I've ever played that had truly great voice acting. Simon Templton delivers some truly awsome lines as Kain. So anyone else want to add any feelings on this series?

Vae Victus!
I was in love with the first game so much that I had a fan site that lasted forever until Geocities kept shutting it down for bandwidth consumption...
I was pretty upset that Eidos took the license, came up with a rudimentary storyline in months, where Silicon Knights spent 5 years on the original...and then they had the nerve to release only a partial game with a "to be continued" at the midway point...weak!
I tried the third game in the series for like, three hours, but the darkness was your greatest enemy and I was just getting sick of not being able to see so I quit cold turkey.
The first game was sooo well thought out, and you're right...the voice work was epic and I believe that was one of the first games where you played as the anti-hero...
So like, yeah...I have all of the artwork, desktops from Silicon Knights, movies, and Elzevir the Dollmaker's theme from the first game on my computer!

Let's see, the third game was soul reaver 2 right? Well if you didn't like the way CD went from Sould reaver on then be glad you didn't get to Blood Omen 2. That really messed up things for the story, as a different development team made stuff that had to be adressed in Defience. Speaking of Defience it also featured the return of Vae Victus, in two tones. The classic yell or a quiter more sinister version. Oh and my best freind noticed that Kains voice actor, Simon Templeman looks just like Kain.
