I have the original, but I don't have Melee. (Don't have a Game Cube) I like playing as Link and Pikachu, but my sister always plays with Kirby or Yoshi, which usually kill me... O.o

I like playing as Ganondorf, Jigglypuff (she's super cheap if you know how to use her), Pikachu, and sometimes Mewtwo. Roy is also good, if not cheap.

I love and own that game, great for parties. My favorite character is Link, usually i just grab someone with the hookshot, then throw them down and use the spin, or throw them up and use the upper smash attack.

Ooh, I love this game to bits! I've unlocked everything except a Kirby stage. My favorite character is Marth (he's hot), but I'm not very good with him...^_^;
My best character is Pikachu ^_^

I'm awesome with Roy (or Marth, I'm teh 1 wit red hair, cant remember cause it was a while ago I played last) and my freinds all get pissed and say he's cheap causa that fire thing (HAH!) but I dun't think it's cheap. He's crazy good s'all.
By the way, what game's he from? Roy, that is?

Like Marth, Roy is from Fire Emblem. Marth featured in FE1 and 3 (FE1 was released on the NES and I think FE3 was released on the SNES, but I could be wrong). Roy featured in FE6 as the main Lord and in the ending for FE7. Both of these games were released on the GBA. Note that "Fire Emblem" was a translation of FE7. Also note that the FE games don't officially have numbers in their title. They normally have a sub title. Fans give them numbers to make it easier to mention a particular game from the series. Also note that FE7 takes place before FE6 but was released after (hence the cliffhanger ending for FE7). At this moment in time there is no sign of FE6 getting translated and released in the west, though some sources say that around the time the game was released, there were talks.
Besides no FE game was released in the west prior to FE7, Nintendo expected Marth and Roy to be removed (Marth was added because Japanese fans wanted to see him in the game and Roy was added to promote FE6 which was released around the time Melee was).

My favourite characters are Pikachu, Link and Young Link.
Pikachu is a bit underrated really. It's a great character when it's used well. It's speed is awesome and nothing beats using thunder on an opponant when they're already in the air and KOing them. ;D
Link and Young Link have a wide variety of moves which are really useful. Link has the power and Young Link has the speed.

i like ssbm alot. my favourite characters to play as are link(even though he's painfully slow compared to marth) and marth. love marth and link soooo much!  even though link doesn't talk and marth speaks in japanese. i have switched the language to japanese before and it's weird but cool. it's definatly one of my favourite games because i can actually beat people when i play it, unlike soul calibur 2. to the person who asked if anyone has played fire emblem for the gba, i answer: yes, yes i have and I LOVE IT!!! ;D nils(the bard) is just so cute!! |

I played it once, at a friend's place. XD It wasn't fair, they were all guys and I never play on N64/GameCube/etc. so I pretty much sucked at simple things like attacking. It was pretty fun. Kirby is so freaking funny! XD |
