has anyone here played this... well, I know Master Cheif has, but... anyone else?
I LOVE this game!! I like to fight as Roy (you unlock him by beating the game as Marth in classic or adventure mode without continuing), Zelda/Shiek, Ness, Fox, and Mewtwo.
one of my fave things about the game is the Language option. while on Japanese, you can hear the orginal voices of the Pokemon, and Jigglypuff is reffered to by it's original name, Purin. (this is probably why it's rated T- I dunno what else it can be.)

Really? You can change it into Japanese? o_0 I didn't know that...  Well, I've played it! It's a fun game. ^^ But it's just like the N64 version...it gets boring after playing it 24/7 with your short-term memory loss friend...>_> *cough* I love using Roy! I think he's better than Marth...what am I saying? He is better than Marth! XD By the way...speaking of Marth...who else thinks he's a woman in disguise...? o_0 I also love using Link. X3 Young or old. Link is cool in any game. XD |

I own the N64 version and I still play that game when I get bored. With Link I own anyone!!
I even tested myself by battling three level nine players in a team mode pitting all of them against me and I wiped the floor with their sorry behinds (I usually pitted myself against fox. I don't know why, but I always got the best fights against him).
I also like to use Mario and Pikachu. My wife is always Capt. Falcon. One Falcon Punch and I was outta there.
When battling comp. players I use stock (lives) mode. But when my wife and I play we use about a 4 min. time mode. I successfully unlocked everything in the N64 version as well.
Awesome game and my brother owns the Gamecube version. I played it like once and I did okay considering I'm used to a PS2 controller.

Fear the Blue Kirby!
Yeah this game is loads of fun. I've enjoyed collecting all of the trophies. So close....Mew trophy will be mine!
As I've mentioned, I love being Kirby. His little rock smash move is what I use to WIN baby! Roy is awesome too? Anyone here play Fire Emblem for GBA? There's a family tie there.

You can change it into Japanese? o_0 I didn't know that... yeah, go to "Options" and go to the kanji thing. you can choose between English (American flag) or Japanese (Japanese flag) text, but some of the voices change too. My brother and I like to have vs. battles using only Pokeballs in Japanese mode... it's pure bliss. some of the Pokemon keep their seiyuu in the English mode as well, even though they have new VAs in the anime. Mewtwo keeps its voice, and sometimes in Japanese mode (on VS) he talks. BTW, Roy is hot... |

You can see Peach's panties in the game. ya, you gotta get peach to jump, then pause and adjust the camera. *ETCHI!!* Hey, hey, I had to see why it was rated T. XD i gotta say tho, this is definitely the most fun $50 could buy (that's how much it was three years ago), and three years later, still playin like crazy. That's the magic of SSBM, it never gets old. Trophy collecting is the best!! Although, I can't get three of them. Definitely never Captain Olimar (have to insert memory card with Pikmin file in it, i'm not gonna get Pikmin!!) I also can't defeat All-Star mode on hard w/o continuing, so Mew is gone, and I can't get every bonus that exists in the game, so there goes Diskun. Best One-on-one character: FOX!! Best Free-for-all character: Ness!! (PK Thunder...HUAAAAA!!) Best Overall Character: Roy!! Weirdest Character: Mr. Game and Watch Worst Character: Pichu Biggest Decline in Power from N64: Kirby (he used to be the best, now he sux) |

the game is AWESOME. But will they have a sequel with more characters?  Just asking but what is the point of Mew comin out of a pokeball??? |

When Mew comes out of the Pokeball, you basically get a lot of points. Same for Celebi. You also get a trophy if it's the first time they came out.

I'm great at this game! I beat everyone! With Pikachu! ;D I wonder... I should play other fighting games... I only have SSBM and Tekken 3.
