Got AC for Christmas, and WOW I really should have gotten it ages ago. It's great! My only pet peeve is that there's not much to do in winter, but I'll survive until...THE SPRING COMES. Besides, I need to get all of the Snowman items. Anyway, does anyone else here play Animal Crossing? For those who play, which villagers do you have? I have Stu, Kiki, Wart Jr., Tutu, Ed, Bill, Gwen, Rhoda, Portia, Punchy, Daisy, Rasher, Peanut, Midge, and Pinky.

I got AC about two years ago (maybe three). It was pretty awesome...until school started. Then frikin homework overwhelms, and you can't play for a goddam month, and when you return to the village, weeds are everywhere, and you miss sooooo many events, and then you're force to turn back time...and aaaah!!!! But before I stopped playing, it was definitely one of the most underrated games ever.
Now, since I stopped playing (a year ago), I can't remember every single villager i had, but i remember these: Roald, Bubbles, Wart Jr. Frida, Belle, Alli, Lily, Biskit, Teddy, Wolfgang, Twiggy, and...that's all i remember...
does anyone know if (or when) Animal Crossing 2 came out?

I LOVE Animal Crossing. Except I haven't played it in quite a few months. I'm guessing most of my villagers left town though. So I'm not sure who is left.
As for Animal Crossing 2, it's not out yet I believe. They have a version for Nintendo DS, but I'm not sure if it is any different than the GC version.

Oh, I love Animal Crossing! I decorate my house whatever way I damn well please! Screw the HRA!
I know it's bad, but I mess with the clock all the time. It's eternal April on my game because I love the cherry blossoms.
And I'm still trying to get all the Gracie Brands. I hate that smart-ass giraffe!

Have you ever managed to get any of the Gracie brand stuff? I mean without cheating that is. No matter how hard I try I can never get her car up to "Gracie standards".

I did, but her clothes aren't really that good. Wiping her car's not easy, and I can't get it rite every time, but the trick is the old "rapid button push" method of basically sliding your finger (use fingernail side for less friction) over the button incredibly quickly back and forth.

Saturn, you can't actually clean her car up to "Gracie standards" by actually tapping the A button. Like Hana says, you have to slide something rapidly across the A button. I use my fist, my sister uses a pencil. She has more brands than I do, I guess because it's less tiring to use the pencil.

The spoon method sounds quite interesting. Basically, you take the round end of the spoon(the side that doesn't hold food) and rapidly rub it over the A button. I haven't tried it yet since I haven't seen Gracie lately, but from what I've heard, it works pretty well. I have used the pencil method(rub the metal part of a pencil rapidly over the A button) before, but Gracie STILL wouldn't give me original clothes! Gah.

I know I tried using a pen before but I couldn't do it...rapidly pounding it with my finger worked faster for me. Thanks for the spoon idea, I'll definetly have to try it next time. I'm always afraid I'm going to ruin the controller though... -_-

Yeah, some objects could be hazardous, but doing it with your fist is easier on the controller. Hey, does anyone else ignore the HRA. I just throw away any letters I get. I have a complete series, but I mix it with other wallpaper and flooring. And I pllace pieces in different ways. For example, I have the Chinese Lion and Lioness on either side of my door. I put them up facing the wall so that I see them when I come in. Since the HRA counts that as putting them backwards, they always send me letters about how I should place my furniture. I hate the HRA!

I never read the HRA letters either. But I do have the snowman series on the bottom floor and then I started collecting all the town models to make a model of my town on the second floor. The basement I think is just full of nintendo games and other random items. I always get annoyed whenever a townie keeps repainting the roof of my house. Especially when I just had it painted!!

Ugh, I hate that! I just finished repainting my roof red, when I talk to some animal and they tell me they just painted my roof black! Who the Hell told you to paint my roof?!

I got this game a coupla years ago. It's pretty cool, though I've about done as much as there is to do. I just got a few fish and bugs left to catch, and I'm done!
Stupid Resetti is always on my butt, though.
