Well, Dark Alliance 1 and both Champions games were made by Snowblind Studios.
Snowblind left the Dark Alliance series and that resulted in a pretty crappy sequel to Dark Alliance 1.
However, the Champions series is plagued by bugs. Even Champions: Return to Arms has some major glitches that my wife and I have discorvered.
Well, if you don't know about either series I'll explain. they are a hack'n slash type game where you go through dungeons with your character and cut through armies of monsters to victory. Anyone that has played Diablo on the PC will know this game well.
they are bothe great series because my wife and I can play them together. we picked up Champinos Return to Arms while I was off of work. I am currently juggling this and Suikoden 3. It hasn't been easy.
The games are almost identical in the gameplay. Just different dungeons and stories.
I prefer Champions even with the flaws and here's why.
The rewards are far worth it thought as you get the ability to access other areas and gain better skills and equipment. The best part is is that it gives you something to do aside from the same old story of running through a dungeon killing everything that moves.
So anyone play these games?
