Exactly as it sounds. I know there are places in video games where you're thinking, 'Please, don't make me play through this....'
There are a whole bunch for me. First off, it is impossible for me to play through any creepy/ghost level. It's too scary. Especially if it's a Mario game, that game completely scarred me (concerning ghosts) when I was little.
FF7 I really dislike the Lifestream thing on the second disc. It's too long and boring...
FF8 I can't stand sitting through Training Center incident with Squall and Qusitis the first time you go. Then there's the Abadon boss fight on disc 3...
FF9 First and foremost that damn Cid minigame you play right after a battle Ark, with no chance to save. I also hate replaying the battle with Gizamuluke.
Sonic Adventure 2 I hate battling the Egg Golem in Hero stage as Sonic. Then directly after that the hardest boss in the game, a huge, ugly, scary ghost that gives me a heart attack each time I play through. The last few stages of the Hero story are impossible... Mad Space and Security Hall are evil.
That's like the only thing I can think of.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
That massive machine boss. Once I beat him, but I was so low on health that I died because of the dark energy. Very, very, VERY frusterating.

Megaman 8, the, uhm, "snowboard" part of the "last stage". When playing through the game the first time, I thought that if I heard "Jump Jump, Slide Slide" one more time I would have punched a hole through the TV. And the fact I play it via the GCN collection, which has annoying controls didn't help much.
I almost never want to play the game again, just because of that damn Jump Jump, Slide Slide thing.

When you have to beat the Hanagumi in the PS2 Shaman King game.It took me at least 30 times before I got to the next part!><
Then it got kinda boring or I haven't had time to play, but i haven't played it in awhile.^^;

-The first four hours of FF7, and the reason I could never play through it a second time(how long, exactly are you in Midgar for?)
-Near the end of disk 2 in Xenogears in the Ramsus/Miang fight. I died so many times, and there is a long scene before the fights><.
-The spider-ball guardian in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Stupid 4th room that I couldn't beat.
there are several more, but these are the ones that come to mind imediately.

The first hour or two of Xenosaga. Boring as heck.
The rest of the game is great though ^__^ .

really? I only played the first MGS, but that sounds crazy! At least in Xenosaga you can skip the cutscenes!
a more current difficulty that I am going through is trying to beat the boss of King of Fighters 2003. Still on my 300 try or so. *sigh*
*take that, and that! oops, hey! ...oh, I'm dead again*>_<

Hmm I could have probably listed a hundred or so games that had parts like that but they are so old, I can't remember them (Old NES titles).
For the PS2, I can't stand in FF7 when you have to go to the Gold Saucer the first time. And then the desert. The chocobo race after that!! UUUUGGHHH!! Move on please!!
Does the item completion event in .hack count? I never finished it so I guess it doesn't count huh? I did all the twin Blades and after that I was like, AAARRRGGGHH! THIS WILL TAKE ME ANOTHER TEN YEARS!!!! I already put 140 hrs. into this series! I've had enough. I'll probably pick it up again soon though.

Jr: As long as you hate it, it counts. How many times have you played through a game and get stopped by a freakin' boss.
Secretofmana: I told my friend about what you wrote. He said that someone went through the exact same thing as you...except he saved right before he died and everytime he uploaded the file he would die in the first second of gameplay.
Super Mario 64 There are several levels here where I flat refuse to play. It's just that bad. I can't stand playing through them, they're horrible! Oh, let's not forget those damn (but extremely cute) sharks (Dire Dire Docks), Chain Chomp, and that eel. Those things scare the crap out of me.
Spyro: Ripto's Rage I can't remember which world this was, but it was a freakin' water world and I was playing through it real fast. Well me and my cocky little self managed to go so fast I missed renting the all important submarine. The next thing I know, Spyro was being eaten by metal sharks and it scared the bejesus out of me. I've hated that level ever since.
Here's another for each and every FF I've played so far (VI-IX with Tactics). The first hour SUCKS. The first hour of gameplay SUCKS. It's so bad and torturous I almost didn't finish IX or VII because of it.

I'm going to sound like such a wimp...XD;;
Legend of Zelda: OoT - The first boss, Gohma was it? o_O That big spider...I was too afraid to fight her at first. XD So I told my brother to do it...o_o;;
Fatal Frame 2 - EVERY DAMN PART!! o_O;; Hey, I love creepy things, but that game just seriously freaks you out, and you get too scared to even try to progress in the game. XD;;
Skies of Arcadia - SHIP BATTLES!! >< I HATE ship battles!! XD *cough* Oh, and the final boss, Ramirez...
resurie: *kills Ramirez* FINALLY!! Ramirez: *merges with Gigas and turns into a giant ball, where you must fight in A SHIP BATTLE* resurie: O_O WTF?!! *two hours later* resurie: HAHA!! I finally killed you!! Ramirez: *comes back to life YET AGAIN as some freaky merged thingy* resurie: AW HELL NO! ><!!
o_O *points above* Reason resurie won't play SoA again...= =;

Resurie, you're not alone in that. The first time I played through Super Mario 64, I was scared to death of Bowser, so I asked my older sister to do it.

Nagurikorosu: Oh man! I feel sorry for that guy(in Metroid Prime 2)! But aren't all save points surrounded by health fields? Or was he playing on a computer where you can save anytime?
Secret of Mana(for the SNES): The dungeon where you have to have the sprite alive at the very end. He dies so easily!
Sword of Mana (for the GBA): Before you battle the final boss(I think), there's this boring 12 minute-long scene. You have to view it every time you battle him! Oh, and I'm not talking about "Dark Lord", for those of you wondering.

I know what you mean about the Julius in Sword of Mana. I love the boss and the game for it's nostalgic feel, but that scene before fighting Julius is just so freaking LONG... I would change the channel and watch something else on tv while pressing the A button over and over(I was playing in on the GBA player). I do that with a lot of long scenes in games when I have viewed them too many times. *refers back to post about Ramsus/Miang fight in Xenogears*

Secretofmana: I haven't played the game myself, so I wouldn't know. But I am guessing if what you said is true, then he must have had the living Hell beaten out of him, somehow won with low HP and found someplace to save.
Chrono Cross has too many moments you're just sitting and reading exposition you don't understand.
