i am stuck on the first boss and i cant defeat him has anyone got any hits

Skeith is the hardest Phase in the series if you ask me.
By the time you fight the next one in part 2, your characters are definetly beefed up with equipment and magic.
Or maybe, the first boss is your first fight with a phase and you don't know how to go about it. I didn't lose a single battle in that game, but I did come real close against Skeith.
Make sure you have a wavemaster with you.

Wait... first boss? You mean the first boss in the game, or the first main boss in the story?
If it's the former, generally leveling up works wonders.
