Xenosaga I Thread 2

Well, alot of you here seem to really like Xenosaga. So, i finally bought it! I guess i'm doing ok so far, i just beat the first boss...at least i'm not totally sucking ^^;

I really hope it doesn't become too hard, as i'm not the best at video games. But i really want to see Momo! And chaos *_* and Jr.! X3

I read through the first Xenosaga thread last night, i guess i'm still in the 'boring part'? ^^; The battle system is a little bit confusing but i think i'm catching on...

Er...i hope this doesn't get locked ^^;;

Yeah Strawberry, You are probably still on the boring part. At least, the begining part was boring to me *laughs*. It gets better though, so keep on keeping on ^_^ !

I think Jr is replaying episode 1 too. (though I wish he would go and play Xenogears already ;D .)

I *WAS* replaying Ep I... until Ep II came out... I'm replaying Ep II now... taking out my frustrations by Awakening Farming (mwahahahahahah)

But... I don't find AFTER the first boss boring (unless you're refering to inside KOS-MOS' encephalon... that part is boring... but if it's after the REAL first boss...). I mean, one of my favorite scenes is after the first boss!! (the birds/fish/gnosis one)

Oh, and make sure that your confirmation e-mail didn't get thrown in bulk mail on accident. If not, try logging in, and you should be able to request a new e-mail to be sent. Not sure.

I can't rememember what the "first boss" is anymore.... I was thinking it was that big thing in KOS-MOS's enchepylon.

Heh, anyways, I didn't think the game picked up until the first BIG event.

The whole sequence is just fun. Some of the boring stuff you wandered through actually has a purpose!

yeah, in the first dive sequence w/ just KOS-MOS and Shion, that's the first boss, even though it's cake.

The battle system is unique and takes some getting used to.

Oha nd zbout Xenogears, I was just at Gamestop Saturday and the copy of Xenogears was gone (;_; ) so who knows when I'll get around to playing it!

I'm getting addicted to ICO now so I don't know when I'll get around to finishing Xeno 1 again. I finished the Encephalon stage that you go through when you prove your innocence to the Federation.

Ok, Shion went to sleep and stuff...then i think KOS-MOS was waking up and there was all this stuff happening and i was all @__@ and then...the gnosis started attacking! ;_; And then Shion did some stuff and i was hoping it would stay a cut scene...but no....how am i supposed to get to KOS-MOS when Shion can't fight the gnosis! @_@ I tried running to try and find where she was and then one of them attacked me! X___X;; Please help guys, if you can! ...I don't have money for a gameguide...

Yeah...other than that its cool...Allen wants to get in Shion's pants

Okay relax.... if you snooped around the ship you would have found little switches and buttons you could push that would do different things. You need to utilize all of those in order to avoid the Gnosis on the Woglinde.

Thank you Jr.! I closed the door of the gnosis that attacked me at first...and then there was this yellowish one that i just can't seem to get away from I'll check out that site though ^^;;

I love the section where Inu is at *laughs*.

I complain about it being "boring" before that point, but the truth is, I like just mindless meandering around in rpg's. So I clicked all those buttons and things when first going through the ship. It all seemed so pointless though....

But then the craziness happens.

And then all that pointless stuff you did earlier MAKES SENSE. And you're forced to use them. And... and.... it was just so cool .

To Jr concerning Xenogears: NOOOOOOOO!!!!
Ironically, at my local Eletronic Botique they had a used copy of Xenogears there. I happily gazed upon it's wonder *laughs*.
They also had a used copy of Suikoden I.

With the help of Lys i got through the gnosis. Then...well, stuff happened. I hate the gnosis, they are frieakin' scary ;_;

But yeah, Jr. i think i know the part you like. All i really have to say is..KOS-MOS RULES!

But...as soon as her awesome cut scene ended we had to fight...@_@ And i died. GOnna have to try fighting again..any er reccomended attacks i should use..?

lol, poor Jr. At the Gamestop I work at, we have a used copy of Xenogears as well(it's greatest hits though). You should somehow teleport to my gamestop and buy it from us(you are from the future, right?). Just kidding ;D

And yes, KOS-MOS does indeed rule. I used her in my battle party for the entirety of the first game(not much in the second, though).

Why am I the only person in the world who doesn't like KOS-MOS 0_o ?

Someone... explain the appeal! (I'm serious, I just don't get it.)

EDIT: Oh yeah, And Jr, you could always try Ebay for gears someday. It's going for pretty cheap over there.
