Silent Hill 3

This is the coolest and spookiest game I have ever encouneterd.....anyone heard about it yet?I guess not!Well it all starts really innocent,with a teenage girl...bla bla bla...then sudently you wakr up in a haunted house and you have to get to the next level....on the way you meet lots and lots of horrible monsters ant other stuff like skeletons or dead bodies...you can search thedead bodies for holy water to splash the zombies with..or food...or medical kit....and the last level(I haven't got to that but a friend of mine did) is the most horrid of all...you have to fight the Devil himself.......yaick...I can barely wait to get there ;D

You'll want to get your hands on Silent Hill 1, since this is a direct sequel to it...well, the good-ending from 1 anyway. There's 5 endings including the goofy ending...actually, Silent Hill 3 has a goofy ending that kinda ties back to the Silent Hill 1 goofy ending. Silent Hill 1 had terrible voice dialog but it had about a hundred other things that were awesome with it...

Silent Hill 1 was more...erm...open than Silent Hill 3 in where you could go...I found 3 very restrictive and linear...and the underground maze after the subway level was not cool...

You can skip Silent Hill 2 as it doesn't tie-in to the characters from 1 or 3...it just uses the town...

Infact, I don't recommend Silent Hill 2 for a number of reasons:

In 1, they kept changing up the enemies on you so you didn't know what to expect...you were terrified throughout the entire game. In Silent Hill 2, the enemies you fight at the beginning are the same ones you fight at the end...so we were terrified at first with our board and rusty nail...but once we got to the end with the hunting rifle and knew what to expect we just mowed through them...

Silent Hill 2 can be beaten in 6 hours...no joke. We spent 9 hours to get the best ending...the best ending was 30 seconds long and was an in-game cinema of the main character rowing a boat back across the lake...we were very upset...

So Silent Hill 1 good. Silent Hill 2 bad. I'll be honest...I never made it through Silent Hill 3 before my friend moved up north.

There's a Silent Hill 4 that came out last year, but I don't believe it ties back to the rest of the series...

EDIT: oh yeah...the theme song from Silent Hill 3 is actually a stage on DDR Extreme for PS2...uses alot of the game cinemas for it too.

Hmmm...I haven't played silent hill 1 but a friend of mine told me that it was pretty good though...
NOTE TO SELF: Never play Silent Hill 3 at night ever again!!!!I had night mares because of this game...no kidding...

Yeah, I like that song, I think it is called "My Rain" or something.
I personaly have never played the game, but I DID play Silent Hill 1 a while back. That one wasn't so scary, but there is one part that even with the decreased graphics freaked me out. SPOILERS AND DISTURBING!:
*Well,you meet this oe nurse, and she is one of the only poeple in the hospital that hasen't been turned into a zombie/monster. Well.... she really was one. I don't remember how or why, but this is the part that freaked me out. They have a cutscene where she starts aproaching you, pieces of her face chiping, blood spilling out, and crying tears of blood. SHe is saying "help me" or something among those lines. You close the door in the room, cautiously look back, and she is gone. BUT, there is a book and loads ofblood in there I think.*
It may not have been COMPLETLY that way, but I'm pretty sure I'm close.
What funny ending? I only knew thre endings. One bad, one so-so, and one good. Once again, I haven't played in a while so... I may not remember.

Yes!!!!I finally succeeded in finishing the game!!It was so cool!!And freakin spooky...i had nightmares for two days but it was worthed!
