I know I said I wouldn't, but I'm working on the Solomon quest now ^^; . The very last quest I need to work on actually. I finished the challenges, but now I have to go and find some crests so I can finish the chart (*looks up the locations on Gamefaqs*.)

No worries now, I have JUST completed the game. Woo hoo! .... but I'm a bit sad too. The only thing I didn't complete was the lottery. I missed someone, somewhere 0_o ....
The last battle was pretty easy because I leveled up so much on those side quests *laughs*. But I like easy last battles. Let's me see the ending that much quicker .

Oh, and APPARENTLY I got the "good" ending. I wonder what the bad ending was ^^;. Heck, I wonder what I did to get the good ending *laughs*.

Oh, and to add more to the "Shadow Hearts 2 is the sequal to the BAD ending of Shadow Hearts 1..." thing. I've been told that the best way to see the story is...

Shadow Hearts 1 bad ending -> Shadow Hearts 2 good ending -> Shadow Hearts 1 good ending.

First thought- Oh my god... Karin is Yuri's MOM ??!! XD ! *dies*

Second thought- Anastatia and Kurando XD . I grew to like that couple. Those two holding each other at the end was freakishly cute. Sure, there's an age difference but... but... THE CUTE.
I also like that couple because apparently, the parents aprove. Heh heh.

Third thought-
The ending to the man festival was so wrong XD .





And finally, the thing I hate most about myself in regards to this game. My love of a certain, retarded but tragic bastard. Yes, that's right, I had/have a crush on Nicolai.
The thing is, he's just SO freakishly handsome! But he has NO redemable personality traits. NONE.
None-the-less, I held unto hope that he would re-join my party and become GOOD.



The begining of the game tricks you by having him as a playable character in that first dungeon.
Then he turns out to be kind of evil...
Ok, that's fine, sometime during the game he will become good! Besides, he was the only person with "holy" magic, that meant he would rejoin my party again. Right? RIGHT?

And when the game through in some of his backstory, concerning his heritage and his mom, I figured, "YES. He will soon become GOOD."

Then he went and opened that door of evil for no particular reason 0_o .

But he didn't die! He was saved! YES, I thought, Now is his time!

But then he ended up getting tortured.

So the hero's of the story go to the building where he is kept. "Once they see what's happening, they will become kind hearted and save him right? RIGHT?"

*My party just stares as he gets Nicolai's ego gets seemingly killed*

"Damn it...."

Ok, so my party goes off to kill some possesed Nicolai but. They beat the demon up, and the REAL Nicolai is still alive and waking up! NOW! NOW is the time Nicolai will have a moment of concious and become GOOD !

Nicolai: You've ruined everything! *tries to kill Yuri*
Lovely: WHY? WHY ARE YOU RETARDED!?

So, Nicolai is thwarted from attacking Yuri by being pushed aside by Kato. NOW will Nicolai calm down and become GOOD?

Nicolai: *lunges at Kato* You die instead!

Lovely: DAMN IT!

Ok.... maybe Kato will move... and uh... Nicolai will become good?

*Nicolai kills Ouka by mistake*



LOVELY: GAAAAAAAAA!!!! *CENSORED* !!!!!!!!!!! You stupid son-of-bi...!



Ok. Um...maybe... ah snap, your screwed aren't you Nicol?

*Nicolai gets his head crushed by Kato as he pleads with Karen to save him.*

Damn bastard just had to die in the WORST WAY POSSIBLE. I was pretty depressed after that....
I don't know though... besides trying to trick the player a bit, some of the things Nicolai did made absolutely no sense at all. And why the heck did Nicolai develop a crush on Karen? That just came out of nowhere.

Nicolai: Karen! I've been indifferent to you and even tried to kill you along with the others for a while now but now... I can't live with out you!

Karen: 0_o .


Oh yes, another clue that Nicolai wasn't going to join my party was Kurando. Kurando's affinity was "Holy" as well, so it kind of killed the necesity to have a "Holy" alighned character.
At that point though, I wished that if Nicolai died he could of at least died well ^^; .


Well, I can't think of anything else at the moment. So now that I no longer fear spoilers, it's time to read the Gamefaqs message boards .

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention one more thing. I love Yuri's crayon drawings XD .

EDIT2: Speaking of Kurando. While I loved his voice, his look, and the fact that Anastatia develops a crush on him, I think Kurando's character himself was a bit... flat.
They really didn't develop him much.

Beyond the slutiness of the outfit (which I could probably get past), It's the colors I don't like. The colors just don't look well on her at all. I understand WHY she's wearing those colors (fire being her element and all), I just don't like it. I really loved her army uniform though. She looked good in that.

* I saw the "bad" ending yesterday. As is to be expected, I liked the "good" ending a lot more ^^; .

As a almost totally unrelated side note, there is a Shadow Hearts 3 in Japan. Apparently the majority of SH3 takes place in 1920's America .

That said, yeah, the "M" rating bothers me too (don't like gore.) I asked around online and I've been told the main reason the game
is rated "M" is probably because the opening FMV has one viiolent scene. And that basically the rest of the game is "T" material.
(Though it's spooky. SH2 Doll-house side quest spooky.)

I don't have any idea's how you can aquire the game though. Sorry .
I want the game too but it's kind of hard to find online. Even on e-bay.

Speaking of E-bay, sellers there keep on saying that SH2 is "rare." It's not that rare , quit trying to falsely drive up the price. (Not like the "rare" thing is working though, SH2 is still selling for AT MOST $20 or so XD .)

I'm fairly certain Yuri went to school when he was younger, before ... uh, stuff happens. I mean, the game IS pretty modern. I doubt he went to highschool though.

After finding and playing the first Shadow Hearts, I am now replaying the second (and better ) game!
Woo hoo!

Anyways, now that I'm replaying the game, I notice just how frikin' long the "new game" movie is. I mean it's cool, and I liked watching it, but it's long!
I've also noticed that Nicolai runs kind of funny.
