After Lovely completely addicted me to SH2 *ADDICTION ;; * RPG deprivation hit and thus I ran into Radiata Stories, didn't even read the back and bought it, screaming 'NEW RPG GAME WOOT'

....Best Buy will never let me in their store again...

Anyhoo, the game is pretty good. Though I have no idea what the damn hell is up with the stories nowadays >.> It starts off strong then next thing you know you get into confusion and the story dies before you can even get to the conclusion. But you get to branch between two very different forces. I guess that's an added plus...

Disappointing considering story could've been much better.

Oh, and this game was made by Tri-Ace.

Graphics, this game is beautifully done. The entire town and characters are just simpley well done in the overall anime-look. Everything looks storybook-like. The character's expression changes very nicely from angry to happy to sad to murderous. The VAs have done an excellent job portraying emotion on a scale which I can give them credit to.

All the different armors give different costumes to the main character. You can recruit 177 people though not all because who you get depends on which side you choose. The battles are nice, so are the kick options and time moves on.

It's like Majora Mask + Suikoden (Not as great as 1, 2, or 3 ) + Tales of Symphonia minus 2-D battle scrolling, and is just very nice fun...for action anyway.

And blah, I'm too lazy right now but... Radiata has good and bad points... but all I'm asking is if anyone played it XD;

I was interested in it... but I'd never get the US version. It doesn't matter if I don't understand the Japanese version (that's what vanman's for), but... I LOVE Nami Tamaki's song "Fortune," and I found out that it's the opening! And Nami Tamaki is IN the game! And does the voice of her character!

I've heard good reports about the english Voice Acting in this game. And I've also heard that the game is the more lighthearted/humerous type of RPG than the MEGA SERIOUS type. So that sounds like fun.

The only thing I'm concerned about is that it's a Tri-Ace game. A company not known for thier story-abilities. And also the high character list. I'm worried that in the attempt to put a lot of characters in that NONE of the characters will be interesting.

However, I have heard the game play was similar to Star Ocean 3, so that might be fun.

I'm actually interested in this title, and I'll probably play it eventually. I need to finish up some of my gaming backlog first though (still playing Riviera and I STILL haven't started on Baten Kaitos ^^; .)

Indeed Lovely, the story goes all 'interesting' in the beginning then end in a complete flop.

Oh well, that's what fanfiction is for...

As for characters, they have their own individual flair x3 You can stalk them around. *SHOT* And learn their reasons but they're pretty static, not completely flat but not completely round either.

And Jack, the main character, in his Divine Coat looks strangely like Syaoran from either CCS or Tsubasa... *dies*

Vanman's borrowing the game from darkcrim... And I see why they picked Naruto's seiyuu to do Jack's voice... they're both idiotic male main characters who are obsessed with being heros...

Ah well, I beat the game completely and am now hating whoever made the story so incomplete in Tri-Ace =_=
