Long Awaited Sequel: Journey into Dreams

Hey, what's up?

I have only recently confirmed this... probably after being in denial for a while... but SEGA of America is releasing NiGHTS into Dreams 2 (see nightsintodreams.com for details). All that I have found out is that it will have 2 new human protagonists, NiGHTS can transform (and gets a pretty good-looking outfit), and will be on the Wii.

The only thing that worries me is that Yuji Naka won't be working on it (he's pretty adamant on the 'I won't make a sequel thing').

Anyone hear anything else about this?

I've just heard what you've heard really. Should be pretty cool. The first game for the Saturn was a lot of fun. Even though I only rented it..... I still kind of regret that...

Eh, I didn't have an analogue controller at the time either, so it was pretty tough on my thumbs, but it was so fun and beautiful that I toughed it through. Aaaah, memories!

Lovely-san, if you're regretting not buying the game then I'm regretting not buying a Saturn . I've been around trying to learn what I can about the game... and so far all that I've got is that one of the two kids is named Helen and that Reala might be returning. Right now I'm crossing my fingers that no voice actors would be needed (sorry, my 4Kraps getting their hands on NiGHTS-phobia is kicking in) and that Wizeman returns as a villain.

Yes!!!!!!

I was able to play the game in a game room at an anime convention. Sadly to say, some loud music was being played thus making it where I couldn't hear the game music. The very first time I did horribly, but the second year I was actually stable with it... that is until Puffy sat on my head and Clawz refused to fight me like a man... er... cat-thing. Unfortunately, I've never made it to the battle against Wizeman.

How about you? Did you get pretty far when you rented it?
