The Interview Patch: Episode 1

[Konekone]

"Gweeeeeetiiiiiiings!" The cheery face of Zinc appeared on televison screens that were watching PNN (Patch News Network), as it came to his part of the broadcast- The "Interview Patch^TM". "Ohayo gozaimasuuuuu!" Either he'd been doped up, or he was putting on an acting face, or something, as he obviously seemed happy, considering he'd been crying quite a bit.

The camera panned out a bit, to reveal that Zinc was wearing something new than his Patch robes, and was wearing a PNN tuxedo, with a flower in the breast pocket. His hair had been combed excessively by the make-up crew, and the feather in his hair, propping the two ponytails into place, had gone, letting Zinc's hair take on a new form, tied up with Itako style beads, into the form of a large bushy foxtail style.

Zinc gave the "V" sign and a sweet little grin, before resuming his genki-style intro.

"I've wecentwy been pwomoted in my duties, by the Patch O-... Ummm... O-..." He paused, trying to read what his cue card was saying. "Ummm... I can't wead that... Anyway, I'm now a 'Whatever the hard word says' in Twaining!" He beamed.

"As such, I have to in...Inter... Interview? Interview!" He confirmed himself, before continuing. "Right, I have to interview some of the fighters, before the fights actuawwy happen."

"To that end, today I'm interview-...-ing?" He nodded at the stage promp, who was making the "Keep going" sign to him. "Interviewing the two teams about to fight soon! YAAAY!"

"The two teams are: The Future Girls, and... Ummmm... What does that one say?"

"Xeno-Ikkou!" The stage promp hissed, audible on the broadcast. "Xywophone? Wike the wooden bwock thing, that pways music?" "Xeno-Ikkou!" The promp hissed again.

"Ummm... The other team!" Zinc continued, making a "Ta-da" gesture, to reveal the teams.

((Okies, so basically, the only ones allowed to interact with Zinc and such at the moment are the team members of Xeno-Ikkou and Future Girls. However, other roleplayers can be watching the broadcast.

As a quick warning and reminder, you CANNOT be on the broadcast. This means you, Gus! Otherwise, you will be dragged off by personnel.

This is the way I am setting up Zinc-kun's new job, as Patch Official in Training, and this is how it works for me. I hope Lovely-chama is pleased.))

"Hello there Zinc, it's great to be here!" Alicia said in the casual manner in which she speaks to everone. Suzaku appeared behind her in a small burst of flames. "Yes, a pleasure Zinc!" she added. Alicia had on her usual outfit, only instead of the usual ponytail she had her hair down and a pair of sunglasses atop her head because of the harsh afternoon sun. Minako and Akio were there with her as well. Minako was seated in the center, with Akio to the right and Alicia to the left. The Future Girls were excited about the interview.

[Konekone]

He nodded and looked around for Xeno-Ikkou. "Are they not here? Oh, well, I can still interview this team!" He beamed, and took up his microphone, holding it with his pinky extended. "First of all, I shall wead some questions from fans... Question 1: What is your favouwite cowour? ... Ummm... No, wait... I... Ummm... New Question! Why are you in the Shaman Fight?"

(OOC: for the curious, I did indeed "officially" give Kenni this job XD . Muwahahaha ...)


Lovely munched on some fried rice balls as she flipped through television stations.

"Geez... there's nothing good on... And "Kokkuri Angel Tamao" doesn't come on for a few more hours "

Lovely sighed dramatically as she popped another rice ball into her mouth and switched the station to PNN.

"Gweeeeeeeetings!"

Lovely's eyes nearly popped out of her head. Zinc-kun! The adorable Zinc-kun! The adorable, sweet and pure Zinc-kun, on the TV ! Lovely was so distracted in her joy that she hardly noticed her teamate Resurie enter the room.

"Um... Lovely, shouldn't we try having a strategy meeting or something."

"SILENCE FOR THE ZINC-KUN!"

"What? Oh! That Zinc kid is on T.V huh?"

"Soooooo cuuuuuuuute!"

"Um... sure..." *sits down next to Lovely, stares at her a bit, then takes one of Lovely's fried rice balls and pops it into her mouth* "Eh, what the hell..."

[Bluehairedhorofreak]

Lijeih flipped though the channels. There was nothing really good on. But just when she was about to turn off the televisoin, she saw....some fox ears. Along with...Zinc. Zinc!!

"Ziiiiiiinc!"

She continued to scream as some other Shamans from the other rooms yelled at her to shut up. After she was out of breath, she attempted to glomp the television.

Akio: *does'nt look at the camera as he's being interviewed. his face is a little red from embarassment as he peeks up to look at the camera*

Sarah sat around watching TV; Dixie was on top of her head and lost her balance falling on the remote tripping it. Then Sarah saw Zinc pop up on the screen and smiled a bit, until the noise shamans down the hall started yelling again, something about food.

She figured if they could be noisy so would she...

"ZINC, ZINC, ZINC, ZINC HE SO CUTE ZINC, ZINC, ZINC ADORABLE ZINC-KUN!!"

Dixie seemed to be a bit freaked out by Sarah’s reaction, and seemed to have the ‘why did it have to be this channel’ look on her face as she watched Sarah run about the room screaming with glee before finally sitting down to watch the show.

[Dessa]

**runs in out of breath**

Sorry I'm late... I was out looking for Kon... STILL!!! That little brat's gonna get the stuffing pulled out of him when I find him.

Meanwhile, back at the apartment.

Van: Hey guys, what'cha watching?

Lovely: Shouldn't you be at the interview?

Van: With all those fangirls in the audience? No way.

Lovely: whatever.

[Magenta]

Megumi poked her head into their dormatry to see what all the fuss was about. She saw Sarah sitting on the floor close to the TV. Curious as to what made her yell alot just then she turned her attention to the TV. "Hey, It's Zinc-chan, move over" she said as she sat down next to Sarah

[Konekone]

The camera panned over to Zinc, as he jumped, adjusted himself, and walked over to Dessa. "Umm, better wate than never, I suppose!" He beamed, and brushed his face with his paw, tail swishing in sight.

[Pinkechidna]

Alicia shifted nervously in her seat. Must....resist....urge....to...HUG!! she thought.

[Konekone]

His ears gave a little twitchy-twitch and he looked back to Alicia. "So, why was it you entered the Shaman Tournament?"

[Jr.]

Jr. watches as Zinc interviews the teams.

(Dammit!) He thought as he stood there, (I wanted to face both of these teams. Hmm, I'm not sure about who I want to win!! )

Lovely looks at the brooding Jr.

"What's with you? You are so quiet!!"

Jr. awoke from his trance, "Umm sorry! I'm okay..... pass the popcorn!! "

Resurie and Lovely looked at Jr. knowing full well he was lying but they figured they shouldn't get involved.... yet.

[Pinkechidna]

Alicia sat firmly on her hands and tried to concentrate on the question.

"Well Zinc, I love the thrill of competition!" she said brightly. "Yeah, my ultimate goal is world peace, and Akio and Alicia are backing me up!" Minako smiled happily and flashed the victory sign at the camera. Akio tried his best to avert the gaze of the camera.

Suzaku looked worriedly at Alicia. (Sigh) I know it's only a matter of time before Alicia jumps off that chair and glomp tackles Zinc. She turned towards her fellow spirits. "Hey guys, wanna bet how long it is before Alicia attacks Zinc?" she whispered.

(OOC- I hope you guys didn't mind me writing for you, I wanted to make it more interesting than just my own response!)

Akio: th..that's right... *looks nervously at the camera as he fidgets with his fingers*
im..trying my best to help out...the team. *tries to think of something else to say but looks away and blushes from embarassment*

im just wondering how long it's going to take before Akio feints....
