"And what if we're not?" asks Nippon. *Evets stands up straight and looks forward.* "Then we are f**ked in the ass." *Keisuke and Nippon fall to the ground, in disbelief that Evets said something so retarded. Evets then kneels down to Zinc.* "Listen kid, that whole fight was self defense, and when you got hit, it was an accident. Please don't tell Goldva, or we're screwed, so here..." *Evets reaches into his pocket, and hands him money and candy.* "If you promise you won't tell, I'll give you this." "What is this a bribe?!!!!" screamed Keisuke and Nippon. |

Nippon plucks the feather duster out Zinc's mouth, "Ewww, slimy."
"Why are you giving me candy and money?" asked Zinc.
"I don't believe in threatening little kids (aside) bribery is much more effective," said Evets. "Please just listen to us? Maybe we can be friends?"
And with that, Evets tries to flash a smile at the small Patch. "Join in guys!!" And Nippon and Keisuke both bombard Zinc with their happy faces and cheerful vibes.
(OOC: YOSHAA!! Senior Shaman status finally!)

So don't take any offense if we don't "hear" you, okay?) Evets's pupils contracted Takei style, turning whitish. (OOC: you guys know what I'm talking about right?) Then he closes his eyes and stands up, "Well, I give up." Keisuke and Nippon facefault. "Huh?!!" "We gotta face the music. I don't feel comfortable torturing this kid. Besides, what kind of Shaman Kings could we be if we don't own up for our actions? What kind of Shaman King strangles an 8 year old, stuffs a feather duster in his mouth, then bribes him, then doesn't take responsibility for his or her actions?" Keisuke and Nippon look down. "I think we should let him go...but first..." Evets got on his knees, "Gomen nasai, Zinc-chan. We are at fault, and I accept full responsibility for my actions. This may be too much to ask for, but I'll ask anyway. I'd like to request for your forgiveness..." Nippon and Keisuke, looking on, were moved by their leader's actions. Nippon also got on her knees, "Gomen, Zinc-kun." Keisuke was a little more reluctant...he needs to be Shaman King! He needs his family to recognize his ability! (OOC: for more information, check out my character creation thread: shamankingu.proboards24.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=OOC&thread=1109643287&start=0)However, a chord struck in Keisuke, and his pupils turned white also. This kid was just like him. Just like Zinc, Keisuke was shunned by his family for being different. Just like Zinc, he was abused and humiliated in the same manner he's humiliating Zinc now. In horror, Keisuke dropped his compass and got on his knees. "GOMEN NASAI!! Zinc-sama! Gomen!" Tears started to well up in Kei-kun's eyes. (OOC: okay...that was mushy, I'm not good at this stuff...>_< *sigh* well, anyway, I suggest Zinc to act his character out, since he would know best how Zinc would act. Now you have more freedom Zinc, use your RP powers!) |

As he felt himself being let go of, Zinc wasn't too sure of what to say. The damage had already been dealt, and it had left a mark.
He turned away, and started to walk off, unaware of how Keisuke was feeling. He just thought he was overreacting.
Little did he know, however, that his trouble was far from over.
He was to experience terrible times with Geo and his Wyrmtrex spirit, and then... After that? Well... That's something better left alone for a while...

The three members of Sushigumi got up and watched as Zinc walked away.
"Whatever happens now, is out of our hands. I hope he makes the right decision, cuz we made some pretty stupid ones," says Evets.
Keisuke and Nippon nodded. Nippon took a deep breath as all the tension began to wear off. Keisuke cleared his eyes. Both of them looked at Evets with newfound respect for their leader, who knew what to do at such a precarious situation.
With all the anxiety of the tournament, the three have forgotten what it really meant to become Shaman King. In the process, they all committed acts they regretted. Keisuke had tied up an 8 year old. Nippon had stuffed a feather duster in his mouth. And Evets committed attempted bribery. All of it just so they wouldn't get disqualified from the Shaman tournament. Was it worth doing what they did?
What does it mean to be Shaman King? -- Is it simply the title of the most powerful Shaman in the world, or does it mean more than that? -- Does it mean you're better than all of the other Shaman out there? -- Even then, if you become Shaman King, why should other shaman respect you? -- What makes you better than any other shaman out there? -- Why should you lead the world out of calamity?
These questions raced through all of their heads. The wind blew through their hairs, and the sun began to set, casting long shadows under the orange sky. After a long moment of silence, Evets broke the tension.
"Come on guys, let's go back to PatchDnald's, our original destination. It'll be my treat."
...
Epilogue: After the Sushigumi had their dinner at PatchDnald's, and finished contemplating what they had just gone through, they got back into their normal routine of training, and may be seen in many areas of high shaman activity such as Patch Karaoke and the Battle of Future Girls vs. Xeno-Ikkou. Later, they will attend the interview led by Zinc, so we may continue this in the interview thread. Who knows what will go on between Zinc and Sushigumi on Zinc's stage?
(OOC: All right, that's a wrap! Tried to put some deep stuff into that last scene, what do you guy's think? I think I shoulda developed the "deep" feeling a little more before I started throwing all that philosophy in there, but o well... Check back once in a while, cuz I might add a little more to this final scene.
btw, if any of the participants in this RP wish to add another event between the end of this RP thread and the epilogue, go ahead, cuz this wasn't my thread to begin with anyway ^-^)
