((OOC: Basically, this is kindof character developement. This was supposed to be short, but it got long.))
Biggs stared at the souvenirs.
"So many......"
"Um, excuse me? Are you buying something?" asked the clerk.
"I'm looking for something. I don't know what it is, but I need something." answered Biggs.
"Take your time."
Suddenly, Biggs spotted a blue pendant, complete with rope to tie it around your neck.
"Um, how much does that cost, sir?"
"Oh, that costs 4 patch bucks."
"Okay, I have........... not enough money."
"Well then, see you later."
Curse the arcade! thought Biggs. He had used all of his money on games.He went home.
"What's wrong?" asked Yari.
"Oh, there was this blue pendant at the souvenir shop that I wanted, but I didn't have enough money. Oh well." replied Biggs.
"Hmmmmmm........" thought Yari.
The next day..........
"Huh? What's this?" inquired Biggs as Yari lay down a small wraped package.
"Just a gift for our leader." replied Yari.
Biggs opened it up, and there was the pendant from yesterday.
"*Gasp* Thanks Yari!" Biggs blushed. " Thank you very much! You didnt have to-"
" Well, I heard you say you wanted it, so........"
Biggs wondered if there was anything he could afford at the souvenir shop.
"Thanks alot! I'll be going into town for a short while, now!" said Biggs as he dashed out the door.
"Wonder what his hurry was for?" wondered Yurri.
Yari just grinned, happy that he liked it.
A while later......
Biggs arrived back with his own gift in hand."Open it, Yari!"
"But you didn't have to-"
"You didn't have to get me the pendant in the first place, now did you?" reminded Biggs.
Yari grinned and opened it.
" Oh my.........." It was an iron model of a beatiful female archer. " It's a very lovely model!"
"I'm sorry my money couldn't afford anything better." said Biggs.
"No, it's great!" replied Yari.
And so ended the souvenir shop mini-adventure.
