Confrontation (Jr. Vs. Akio) (Ep.51ish)

[Jr.]

Akio called out his most powerful attack, "I summon all of my furyoku!!! GUILT TRIP!!" A giant skeletal cat emerges from the ground and goes straight after Jr.

Jr. fuses his two guns into one and holds his newly formed gun at Akio, "With all the furyoku I have left......SOUL RHAPSODY!!!" The two attacks meet in between them and sends another shockwave that shatters every window in the vicinity of Jr. and Akio. A crater is what is left after the two attacks merge.

Jr. and Akio are laying on the ground on opposite sides of the crater. Alicia and Minako come running up to Akio.

Alicia cries out, "AKIO! What happened?" She quicly oversouls Suzaku and yells, "PHOENIX DOWN!" and heals him to the point where he is awake.

Minako looks across the battlefield and then she holds her head as if she has a pounding headache, All this negative energy...sadness...anger...regret...revenge...hate! Jr. and Akio have had so much to deal with in their journeys. I hope they can rise above it and not let the darkness win!

Lovely walks up to Jr. who is barely conciouss, "Did you get what you came for Jr.?" she asks.

Jr. just stared into Lovely's eyes, "Not...yet."

Lovely looks at Jr. with a bit of anger, "You nearly killed yourself out there! Look at you!!" She oversouls Finius into her baton, "I'm not sure whether to heal you or knock you out so you won't do anything else that could put my chances of becoming Shaman King at risk!"

Jr. sat up under his own power, "That is a decision that you'll have to figure out on your own! I...have questions I need answered." Jr. points to Akio, "And he is the one that holds them!"

Lovely raised her gun and pointed it at Jr., "DIVINITY!" A healing aura surrounds Jr. and heals some of his wounds, "It's not much but you should be able to walk now." She grins and turns to walk away. She stops suddenly and turns again to Jr., "I hope you find what you seek! Just don't....don't die out there ya moron!"

Jr. smiles as Lovely walks away. He then turns to Akio with his team. Alicia glares at Jr. from across the crater that Jr. and Akio's attacks formed. He knew this wasn't going to be easy, but he began walking towards Akio and the Future Girls. Lovely passed by Resurie on her way out.

"Are you just going to let him face the three of them alone?" she asks Lovely.

Lovely turned, "This is Jr.'s fight! He can handle it himself! And besides.......I'm not going to be here when the Patch get here and begin assigning bills for the broken glass and damage to the buildings!"

[Ashil]

(OOC: Is is great bro! i wanna add something, but i don't really want to interfear. you're doing such a great job handeling my character!)

Finius seem to murmer something to Lovely as the girl made her way to the local arcade.

"Yeah I was thinking that too. Well, lets see how he handles himself, and then I'll make my decision."

As Lovely began to brake into a jog, Finius lagged behind for a moment. The creature then seem to grumble something grouchily to itself, but after a moment, the creature raced back to Lovely's side.

[Gus]

Gus stood up, his legs slightly sore. "So, Kazad. They've gone... perhaps I should follow, neh? If they really can find out my secrets, I'd rather know how much they can learn, rather than just sit and wait. Let's go."

Gus stepped out of his alley, and quietly strode after Jr. and the Future Girls.

(OOC: the scary thing is Lovely was that I had that part written a while ago. I was just waiting to post it.

NOTE!!!!! I forgot to mention that I am allowing interaction now so you can say things to Jr. and Akio but don't go overboard!

With the way that Akio's ANGST thread is shaping up....this thread will have a kind of non-ending because it ends with Jr. finding out about Ashil, but with the way Akio acts in his angst thread....it just wouldn't tie in right so the revealing of the truth will probably come at a later time, but still before Modogumi's battle that seems to have never come to pass!! XD )

Akio was helped up by his team mates as he watched Jr.
He was about to make a move when a familliar body stood in front of him.

"Kamanji...?" Akio said weakly.

"I've been watching your reckless fighting, Akio. I can't just sit around any longer and watch you kill yourself." The spikey blonde stared Jr. down as he spoke.

Ali and Mina looked at Kamanji.
"We'll take him to the hotel room." Mina said, trying not to let the tension get to her.

"Correction, YOU'LL take him back. Im going to stay with Kamanji and help out." Ali said, getting angry.

Jr. knew he was out numberd and too wounded to take on fresh enemies, but he wanted answers. He took a shakey step forward.

"Koror!" Kamanji yelled as a tiger on his hind legs appered and spoke telepathically.

"Yeah?"

"Think you can take him out?"

"Him? Please he's barely alive!" Koror made his way to Jr.

Jr. stopped as the tiger walked to him. Koror looked up at Jr. as Jr. looked into the tiger's eyes.

"Sleep" Koror said as he stared into Jr.'s eyes. Jr.'s body felt heavy as he started to doze off. Koror blinked his eyes and Jr. was asleep. As Koror came back Ali exploded.

"That's it!? You're not going to maul him!?"

"Naw, it's no fun when they're weak." Koror said with a grin.

"C'mon, let's get Akio out of here." Kamanji said walking off and picking up Akio.

[Pinkechidna]

Alicia noticed Jr. coming towars her.

"YOU! Stop right there! I wanna yell at you, but you're second on the list!" She whirled around to Akio.

Minako could sense aggression....

"What the hell?! We were wondering where the HELL you were, and then we find you bleeding and figthing the leprecahn?" She turned and sneered at Jr. "Did he steal your Lucky Charms?"

"Alicia," Minako said softly, "you have no Furyoku, don't make him mad...."

"Pfft. Akio, why the Hell don't you tell us when anything's wrong?! Do we look goddamn psychic to you?! I try and try to get you to talk to us, but you just refuse!"

"You wouldn't understand my pain....." Akio mumbled.

"BECAUSE YOU NEVER TELL US ABOUT IT!"

Minako spoke up, "Akio, we might if you just tell us. If you were going to fight Jr., we want to know. You could have been seriously hurt!"

Akio looked at the ground.

"And YOU! Oopma-Loompa! What the hell do you think you're doing attacking Akio like that?!"

Suzaku, "No Furyoku, no Furyoku!" she chanted, trying to avoid Alicia geting murdered by Jr.

"You don't tell your team anything either, do you?! WHERE IS THE COMMUNICATION?! I hope you team kicks your ass for doing thins without telling them!"

[Gus]

Gus walks up to the assembled shamans. He stands on the sidelines for a bit, then steps foward. "Uh... hey."

Jr looks over at him. "Oh. Hey Gus." The future girls just glare at him for interrupting.

"I... yeah. I just wanted..."

Jr looks at him, slightly annoyed. "Are you gonna say something? I've got enough on my hands being called short a thousand different ways, and if you've got nothing to add, buzz off!"

Gus looks down. "I... never mind. It's just... nothing. Sorry for bothering you. I hope you guys find who your looking for is all."

He walked away, but lingered nearby. Perhaps a direct approach wasn't as wise as he'd thought...

[Dessa]

(OOC: LOL funny story. I made up Koror while watching survivor palou. i needed a name and since i was rooting for team koror i thought i'd show my support!)

Reuben was watching the whole thing from a far away roof-top, using a portable but well-powered telescope. Reuben was expecting something to happen between the two, after all he heard. He decided to come a bit closer to the area where the battle was taking place, but still stay out of sight. Wearing a trench-coat, somewhat large hat, and sun glases, he knew that even if someone saw him, no one would recognize him anyway. He hid his spirits so no one would know he's a shaman at first glance. He got so close, to the seen of the battle, he could see every uncovered wound on both of the fighters. He then radioed (sp?) in to one of his comrads and asked her to find out everything she could on the pair of fighters. She radioed back after a few minutes with little information, but told Reuben what she had found out anyway:

Aya: "Reuben, do you copy? Over."
Reuben: I copy. What have you found out?
Aya: "Not much, but I did get something..."
Reuben: Go ahead.
Aya: "I'll start with names: the one with red hair and the guns is called 'Jr.', and the other one is called 'Akio'."
Reuben: What else did you get?
Aya: "Well, they both worked for Hao, but now it seemes thair goals are to take revenge on him for the death of Ashil."
Reuben: I was afraid of this. It looks like both of them have an uphill battle. Thanks. If you get anything else, just gimme a ring.
Aya: "Will do. Aya out."
*click*

Well, it looks like two more people that are probably gonna lose to Hao. When will they realize it requires not only good control over their furyoku (sp?), but a good stratagy to defeat Hao...and ontop of that, he's more powerful then these two combined; I was lucky to be able to make it out alive...

(OOC: ...okay, how'd I do here?)

[Jr.]

(OOC: This may be confusing so let me explain what I'm doing here! I'm going to show a series of flashbacks that are going to be running through Jr.'s mind as he is still asleep from Koror's spell.)

Clearly there have been times in your life that were so horrible that it filled you with a burning hatred - and a desire to destroy everything...

"Ashil! Hao has lied to you! This world was meant as you used to see it. A place where humans and shamans can live together!" Jr. cries.

Ashil just looks down from his golem that he just created, "You're dream is impossible! Humans will never let that happen!" Ashil's golem reaches his hand back to strike Jr.

Ashil's golem nails Jr. knocking him through the air.

(White Flash)

Jr. fires a final shot through Albedo's heart. Jr. then realizes what has happened. He cries out in sadness as he watches his brother's spirit get carried away.

(White Flash)

Hao speaks, “Thank you for your help Jr. If you hadn’t been here to push Ashil away from you into me, I probably wouldn’t have him as such a faithful servant!”

S...ervant?

Hao continues, “Now that you have fulfilled your purpose there’s nothing left to do but end this!”

Hao turns and leaves. The spirit of fire appears and swings at Jr. engulfing him in flames.


(White Flash)

Alicia raised her staff in the air, “BLAZING HELIX!!”

The flames spun around her and then she fired them at Jr. the flames circled the boy and he could feel their flames.

The heat of the flames…NO! Keep it together! Jr. thought. Joe tried to help him.

Jr.! It’s okay! Don’t- but it was too late. As the flames wrapped around him he fell to his knees screaming from fear!

(White Flash)

Jr. opened his eyes. He was still lying in the crater caused by his battle with Akio. He slowly began to stir as Kamandji and Alicia readied themselves for whatever Jr. was about to do.

Back at the apartment chaos was still trying to persuade Dessa to come out of her room. A strange feeling came over him.

"Jr." he said to himself as he headed for the door. I'm sorry Dessa, but I have to help him...

Jr. was standing now with a red aura surrounding his body. Alicia was a bit worried with her being out of furyoku. Kamandji didn't say a word.

Jr. looking at the ground raised his guns and pointed them at Kamandji and Alicia, "Where is he?!" Jr. asked as the red aura began to increase in size.

Neither of the two shamans said a word in reply to Jr.'s question. The aura grew.

"I said..." Jr. looked up at the two of them his eyes burning with anger, [glow=red,5,300]"WHERE IS HE?!"[/glow]

Jr. fired a shot (OOC: He is not in Oversoul so this bullet is normal) at Alicia. As a reflex Alicia swung her staff to block the shot but without any furyoku to protect her staff the bullet shattered the staff in two. The bullet, having it's path changed from hitting the staff, and caught her in the arm. Jr. then aimed for Kamandji.

Jr. was fighting a fierce battle in his own mind. He could no longer make sense of things and he has finally submitted to his rage. Some spectaors had run to notify the Patch Officiates so this madness could be brought to a halt before someone dies. Some, just watched in horror. Others Oversouled themselves, ready for anything to happen.

(OOC: Couple things, CFA, no you're incorrect on your interpretation although I guess it could be perceived that way. I have no intention of going after Hao since that would be too difficult to write seeing as how we aren't allowed to interact with the cast. This matter will be settled and things will move on. And I changed the episode this battle falls in because I wanted it BEFORE my match with Dessa's team and I forgot it was in 51. So I'm backing this fight up a week so it will make sense. I also hope I will not be disqualified for my actions here. Pink! I already have this all worked out so don't worry. You will be able to Oversoul Suzaku again soon. I'll think of something...)

[Ashil]

(OOC: possible typos, im pretty tired)

Kamanji stood his ground. He himself had furiokyu left from not being a participant in the turnament. Inside he was a frightend little child, but on the outside, he kept a look of no fear.

Jr. had his guns pointed at the spikey haired shaman.
"Where...is....Akio...!" Jr. demanded.

"I will not let you go after him. Not until you tame that anger. I won't risk loosing Akio to your own hatetred."

Koror bandaged Ali's arm and ran over to Kamanji.
"Im ready if you need me." He said.

Kamanji nodded and looked at Jr.
"If you despiretly want to see Akio, you may. But! Untill you can learn to tame that fire of hate inside you, you won't be taking a single step twords him." Kamanji summoned Koror into a microphone, changing it into a hunter's spear.

Jr. looked even more enraged at the boy as he continuted to hold the gun up at it.

(OOC: i did'nt want to add much jr. diolaouge cuz i did'nrt want to ruin what you were goin for)

[Dessa]

chaos ran as fast as he could through the village. Where is he? chaos closed his eyes as he ran, trying to get some feeling of where the boy was. People who saw him running full speed with his eyes closed jumped out of the way, but they didn't need to worry. He knew exactly where they were. Sight was only one sense, and he often closed his eyes to get a better sense of his surroundings anyway. Catching a feel of Jr.'s location, chaos turned that direction, opening his eyes again, so as to not alarm people.

When chaos finally reached the location where Jr. was, he saw a huge crowd. He pushed his way through the crowd, and saw Jr. paired off against Alicia from the Future Girls (who was sporting a bandaged arm and broken staff... probably thanks to Jr.), and a man he didn't know, who was wielding an oversouled spear.

"Jr.!" he called out.

(OOC: Man I really wish I knew where I was going with this thing! XD Ashil and Dessa, your posts were fine. Dessa, The only Future Girl there now is Alicia because Minako took Akio away. That's why Jr. is asking where Akio is.)

Nyourai had Jr. right where she wanted him, "It's my fault! I had the chance to go with him and I turned my back on him!! If only I wasn't a coward.... he might be here today!

Jr. fought back the tears for as long as he could, but then realized that it was futile. It was for the good of my mission. I couldn't be associated with Hao!

"You threw your friednship away!" Nyoorai continued.

Jr. was cowering on the ground, "NO! Shut up! STOP IT!!!"

Jr. continued to battle in his mind, Ashil...you did die didn't you? And that's my fault too isn't it?

Jr. dropped his guns and began holding his head as he fell to his knees. His aura dissapeared. Kamanji took this opportunity to make a break for it with Alicia. Alicia stopped him though.

"Hold on Kamanji!" Alicia said, "I'm not done with him yet."

"He shot you in the arm!!" Kamanji protested.

Alicia replied, "That is true.", she looked at her bandaged arm, "but I need to talk to him!"

"Later!" Kamanji cried and he grabbed Alicia's good arm and led her away, "Jr. needs some time to himself. You guys can settle this later."

chaos walked over and picked up Jr., "You should really do something about this you know!"

Jr. just looked at chaos kind of groggily, "I can't give you another raise.... you'll be making more money than me then...."

chaos smiled, "Not that, you should really do something about your anger. What would happen if one of your teammates get hurt during your match. It's only in a few days you know."

Jr. was fighting sleep as chaos was carrying him on his back, "I won't let anything happen to them. I...falied...so...many people...I will...not...fail my team..."

Jr. finally fell asleep. chaos smiled again as he brought the tiny gunman home and placed him in bed.

Get some rest Jr. You'll find your answers soon enough! chaos left to continue to coax Dessa out of her room.

Jr. dreamt

The boy nods, "I see you are also a shaman! My name is Ashil! So....." the boy trailed off as he was worried he was pressing Jr. to stay.

Jr. looked around, "Well, actually I have no where else to be so why not. I'll hang out with you Ashil. I'm kind of new to the area so maybe you can acquaint me with this place."

Ashil smiled and nodded, "What's your name?"

Jr. blushed a bit at his own rudeness and said, "My name is...(Should I use Jr.? I could use Rubedo, but I just don't like that name....He's staring at you say something moron!!! >_< )...Jr.!"

(White Flash)

Jr called to Lovely and Resurie, "Since you two seem to need a third I guess I'll just join your team. Trust me you two. You WANT me on your team."

Lovely looked confused at the gunman until replying, "Wha?? Who invited you? Hmph, well, I suppose if your desperate I won't mind. Well... you are another gun user so I guess it's o.k. But that "Save the world" stuff... please, how cliche'. Oh wait! I get it! You figure that by joining our team and by helping me out to become the Shaman Ruler... THAT will save the world. Oh, you're so sweet! I never met one of my fans in person before! Just for that, I'll make you "minister of sweets" when I create my new kingdom."

Jr. was heard laughing in his sleep...

(OOC: I hope everyone is okay with this. Umm as for the patch, I'm sure someone there will rat me and Akio out as the two that caused all the destructuion... -_-

As for the Akio thing, it will be contniued in another thread. If you still wish to talk about your views as a spectator, or kind of wrap up your characters story then that's fine, but the story cannot advance anymore since the main characters are no longer present.)
