(OOC: Just when you thought I couldn't have Jr. in another episode 51 story.....MWAHAHA! In case anyone wonders, Jr. is going to be sleeping from the point after the fight until week S2. I need to get caught up chronologically! ^^; But I still have one more thing I need to do before the battle with Xeno-Ikkou.... You rememebr that battle right? It will happen...sometime! XD )
Jr. has had a bit of a rough week. He lost Great Joe, found him, found out he was fighting his friend chaos, has helped out Dessa and chaos with some things that dealt with his own time, been bitten by Fini, got into a fight with Akio, shot Alicia and broke her staff, fixed her staff with the help of Sou Lang, got bitten and beaten by Sou Lang's robots, and even found a little time to prepare for his first battle with Xeno-Ikkou!
Jr. was practicing his oversoul when he noticed that someone was watching him. He turned and spied Akio.
"Uh, hi Akio! Umm sorry for the other day, I wasn't quite myself! Jr. blushed.
Akio replied, "I wasn't realy myself either Jr. No worries! Are you preparing for your match?"
Jr. replied, "Yeah! It's tomorrow......I think."
Akio smiled, "I'll be rooting for you!"
Jr. returned the smile, "Thanks! You'll be able to see me in... oh yeah! You already saw me in action first hand huh? I'm so embarassed!"
Akio laughed, "Hey! I beat your ass too ya know!"
The two laughed at the last comment but then Jr. turned a bit serious, "Akio? There was something I still wanted to talk to you about..."
Akio knew this was coming, but he took a deep breath. I'm ready now!
(OOC: I want to finally close this story up bro so feel free to add whatever you want! I want to escape the grip episode 51 has on me! XD )

Akio could feel his stomach knot up as he knew what questions were going to be thrown at him. He held back tears as his hands shook a little. He lied, he was'nt ready for this. He wanted to run away and hide from Jr. so he would'nt have to speak about Ashil. Just thinking about his former parter was painfull enough. He swallowed hard and prepared himself for Jr's question.

Jr. reached into his coat and produced an oracle pager.
He began, "This belonged to Ashil! We met in France back before the tournament started. He and I went through the first round of the tournament together...." Jr. stopped for a moment. It was becoming harder for him to continue.
But he pressed on, "Then Hao showed up... he said he was impressed with our battles and he convinced us to join his team.... well Ashil leaped at the offer. I was less than happy, but I wanted Ashil to be happy so I tagged along. Everything was fine until Ashil forgot his dream!"
Akio was a bit surprised by all this revelation, "What was his dream?"
Jr. took a deep breath, "He wanted to live in peace! He dreamed of a world where shamans were not shunned! He was run out of his home town because of his abilities. I found him all alone! I was his only friend until Hao came and...and...."
Jr. stopped. He just couldn't continue. Akio knew what he was going to say...

Akio sighed and looked at Jr.
"So, he accually had a dream and was even accepted into the turnament..."
Akio bit his lip then finally got the curage to say it.
"So, you want to know where he is?"
"Yes! Where is he? Is he okay?" Jr. was finally going to get the answer.
"..............He's dead.............." Akio's hands went up to his face as he lost it. He began to cry as Jr. looked in disbelife at what this sensitive shaman had just said.
"NO! It's a lie! It's a joke to get back at me for what I did to--" He trailed off as he saw the pain in Akio's eyes.
".....It is true....he's...really gone...."
"If he were still alive, he'd be here with me today. But I guess Hao had no need for him, and sent him to his death...." Akio opend his flute case that rested at his side and pulled out the red belt Ashil had worn.
"This is what I have to remember him by..." He held it up for Jr. to see.
Jr. stared at the red belt for a while until he saw Akio drop to his knees and began to cry heavily.
Jr. felt like doing the same, but instead he just walked over to Akio and placed a hand on the shaman's shoulder.
(OOC: hope this is what you were looking for bro)

((OOC: *laughs at the title of the thread* I'm finally getting around to reading threads again ^^;. Jr. has had a bit of a rough week. ((OOC: I actually have this week documented on my computer now... The only "open" things we have left before the battle are this, my story (I'm working on it...), and the dinner thread, which got forgotten, I think... but, if you want, I can post the "timeline of events" for the "week." Although, when Jr. originally posted the timeframe of the battle, it was supposed to be 2 weeks from when we got the notification...))

Akio continuted to sob as Jr. was trying to take in the news that he just heard, He's...dead...I guess I knew deep down that he was after I realized he wasn't with Hao's team...but...I...My promise... I made a promise that I would... see him again. I promised I would return this pager to him and convince him to continue the tournament and follow HIS dreams...
Jr. also began to break down, "Akio? What happened? How did he die? It was Hao wasn't it? Hao got tired of him and just killed him off didn't he?!"
Akio merely replied, "No... It was the X-Laws..."
Jr. asked, "The X-Laws? Why would they...oh...so in the end it was becasue of Hao!"
Akio sobbed, "Jr.! Don't do anything reckless like going after Hao! His power..."
Jr. stopped Akio, "I know Hao's power all too well Akio. I felt it first hand! Ashil made his choice that day and I paid for it by nearly giving up my life!"
Akio looked up, "You what?"
Jr. explained, "It was right before we started out for Patch Village. I had no idea where we were going. Ashil had just come back from France. I had followed him there and witnessed him doing something horrific in the name of Hao! I...I won't go into that now though. When I tried to confront him about how he has changed since we joined Hao's team he became enraged and accused me of standing in the way of his dream!"
Akio replied, "His dream? You mean..."
Jr. nodded, "Yes. The dream that Hao stuck into his head. I had to fight off Hao's entire team but unfortunatley I ran out of furyoku and Ashil...he" Jr. couldn't say it so he continued, "but then Hao came and he would have killed me if it wasn't for Lovely."
Jr. sank to the ground, "I let everyone down: My brother, Chrom, and now Ashil...what's next? My fight is tomorrow!! what if something happens to Lovely or Resurie?! What if I can't protect them? I don't know what I'd do if I lost them! I..."

Akio looked at Jr for a while then handed him the red belt Ashil use to wear.
"Here, use this as a good luck charm. It's kept me going in bad times. Don't worry if it gets ruined, I can take back whatever's left."
<i>"Does he think im THAT reckless?"</i> Thought Jr. But he put it aside and held onto the red belt. He did'nt want to take it, but he knew Akio would be stubborn and tell him otherwise.
Akio looked at the ground and drew circles in the dirt. Jr. could see that him and Ashil must have had a close bond. He could read the hurt in the shy boy's eyes.
Jr. got up and held out his hand to Akio. Akio looksed at Jr.'s hand and held onto it and got up.
"I'll make sure you get this back in one piece!" Jr said, putting Akio's possesion in his pocket.
He then looked curiosly at the boy as he took the hairtie out of his long, black hair and put it around Jr.'s wrist.
"There, now you have both Ashil and me protecting you." Akio's hair was all around his shoulder as Jr. became speachless.
He tried to kill this guy, and now he's trying to keep him safe in the battle. All Jr. could do was smile and say. "Thanks..."
Akio just nodded. Jr. could still see hurt, but not as bad as before.
"I wish you luck..." Akio said, extending his hand for a handshake.
Jr. took the boy's hand and shook it. He then pulled Akio over for a friendly hug.
"Thanks for telling me. It must have been very painfull for you." Jr. said.
Akio was a little confused that the short shaman was hugging him, but he hugged him back.
"The same for you. You know I think your kindness stayed with Ashil. I could tell that deep down something was hurting him. And I think he was just missing his first friend..."
Jr. let go of Akio and looked at him.
"You really think so?"
"I know so." Akio said. "He even mentioned that he had known someone who he misses. He said that you guys had to go your seperate ways...I think he was reffering to you."
Jr. smiled. So Ashil still did keep him in mind. He felt a little better inside as he put his hands into his pockets.
"Again, thanks Akio. I'll make sure I win the battle for the both of you."
"I'll be there watching." Akio said as the two exchanged smiles and went their seperate ways.

Jr. stopped until Akio was out of sight. He then looked down at the belt as he pulled it out of his pocket tears were streaming down Jr.'s face.
His...belt! I still remember seeing him wearing it...Ashil...
He then looked at the hairtye from Akio on his wrist, Akio...thank you...you have finally put my questions to rest. I finally know the truth now, and I know now that Ashil did still think of me as a friend...You have done more for me than you can ever know!
As the sun set, Jr. arrived at the apartment and lied in bed thinking about tomorrow, Tomorrow, I will give it my all. I have the support of Ashil, Akio, and my teammates. I will not let any of you down! I promise!
