Spirit Ally: The spirt of her family crest, Finius. It takes the form of a winged fox. It's nickname is:"Fini"

Oversoul details: medium:a baton like object that turns into a gun when oversouled with Finius.

Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight: WORLD DOMINATION BABY XD !

Other: Comes from a long line of aristocratic theives. Lovely is polite for the most part, but she has a slight temper problem and is known for being a little....trigger happy. She's also a bit spoiled and lazy.

She was roped into taking on the administrative duties of the English Patch forums by the youngest of Patch officiates, Nichrome. Nichrome who merely found a random person to take the job (Lovely), due to him "having better things to do."

Spirit Ally: The spirit of her brother Ivan. >< He was a bass guitar player in a band, but was killed by a drug overdose. (o_O)

Medium/Oversoul details: A (black) bass guitar. o_O When in Oversoul...she hits people with it...and it hurts...a lot...She can also use normal guitar strings as a weapon, to cut people and such. (If you understand that...) Ivan just...enters the guitar and strings...o_o;

Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight: Err...world domination...? XD; For fun...?

Other: resurie is very...freaky looking...In person, she's usually silent, and cold. And almost everything she says is a sarcastic remark. She also tends to make people freak out when they look at her, since her eyes look like that of a killer.

But on the Patch boards, she's more open, silly, and downright weird. o_O She's also one of the moderators (*shot*).

Go me. Actually, all that stuff I said about me being creepy looking. I was being serious. I really am creepy looking, these guys at my school always tell me I'm the one to most likely kill them and that I look like the girl from Ringu. XD

As for the guitar thing...XD;; I've been watching too much FLCL... Actually, I really did want to use a bass guitar, I think it's fun to bash people with it. XD If you want to know what it looks like, just look for Haruko's (FLCL) guitar, it's the exact same one...only black...XD I think it's called a Ridenbacker (or something along those lines).

(Real life fun!) Oh, and there really isn't a black Ridenbacker, I think there's only a blue one (I need to read the guitar thing in the FLCL booklet again..). But I wanted it black. xD; Ah, and I really do have a brother named Ivan, who's in a band and plays the bass guitar. I just think he's cool. ^__^ So I'm using him. >]

Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight: wants be shaman queen and help animals but she's not too bright. ( I'm always making dumb people for stories... so I am here too)

Other: Also wants money and to be a world famous singer and is supposed to be in a bording school... but what her mom dosen't know won't hurt her right? ;D Looking to join or start a shaman fight team. (everyone in team must be able to stand cats or problems may rise.)

Oversoul details: her oversoul is a pink feather duster (that's right, a feather duster). when in oversoul form, she can use the duster like a torch that shoots out feathers like flames (they burn, too ;D) or use it as a sword (in which case, the handle extends).

Gender: robot male

Physical description: shiny gold exterior with black trim...stands just over 200ft...
Hazel eyes and long straight blonde hair that flows to the small of his back...usually tied loosely by a fine length of blue ribbon.
Stands 6'00" with a lithe build...an almost feminine quality to his facial features.

Taevius wears expensive clothing (think Basil, only white with a blue scarf instead of black with a red one.)Taevius also wears a white hooded cape with a large red cross on the back. The hood is usually down with his hair hanging free.

Are you a Shaman? Yes. But Taevius will be out of the Shaman Tournament because he arrived at Patch village a day too late.

Languages: English, Latin

Ethnicity/ Place of origin: Great Britain

Religious affiliation: Christian (Templar Knight)

Shamanic ability: Lord Alibaster has empathy and can pick up the emotions of those around him.

Spirit Ally: "Pure white lily...speak her name..." Her name forgotten in time, The Lady of the Lake is Alibaster's guardian spirit. She cannot speak, but has a greater ability to see the good and evil in men's souls. Taevius can only communicate with her through her gestures and emotions that he perceives.

Oversoul details: A white lily, pinned to his chest above his heart is their medium. The Lady of the Lake amplifies Lord Taevius Alibaster's empathic abilities...fear, love, hate...all of these things can be touched, felt, and tasted by Alibaster in battle. The fencing sword he uses in battle is unaffected.

As an added bonus, Taevius can breathe underwater while oversouled...a pity he never learned the proper art of swimming!

Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight: The Knights Templar seek to restore honor to their clan. They also seek a means of being closer to their God in these troubled times.

Other: Alas, Taevius and his travelling companions have been separated, lost, and Taevius himself will arrive at Patch village alone a mere day too late. He waits patiently there for any sign of his comrades, their fate unknown to him.

Man I love all your characters XD . I especially like how some of you put something grand in the "Why you want to be shaman King" part and then put something petty in the "other" part XD .

Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention, but some of the things about my character was inspired by the character "Mint" from the video game Threads of Fate/Dewprism .

Physcial description:

Hair: Long and very dark brown

Eyes: dark brown

Stature: Very short for her age!

Skin tone: sometimes peaches and cream, sometimes just cream

Overall: I look a bit like Sango from Inuyasha only shorter.

Shaman? Yes, a participant!

Languages: English, primarily. If spoken very slowly, and in simple terms, I can understand a good bit of French. Japanese vocab of maybe 17 words. Not too useful. ^_^;

Ethnicity/ Place of origin: Too many too name, but the most dominate blood is Italian and Irish. Born in Conroe, Texas.

Religion: Catholic

Spirit ally: Suzaku the phoenix. Taken from Japanese mythology. Guardian of the South, I think.

Oversoul details: Oversouls Suzaku into a White Bo staff. Staff becomes engulfed in phoenix fire and has a small pair of wings at the end.

Shamanic abilities: At cost of all Furyoku, she and Suzaku can revive a fallen ally in battle once. (From a knockout, not from death!)

Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight: Nothing to benefit humanity, really. I just enjoy fighting for sport.

Other: Alicia is very friendly. She just wants to have fun and win some battles in the process. She does have a slightly bombastic temper, but it's rarely seen. When not fighting, she likes to play her gameboy. She is currently looking for teammates.

This really is me! I can't wait to get in there and kick some ass!

Name: Magdalene “Foxglove” Montagu, (I like my name!)
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Physical description: Foxglove has auburn hair with red highlights that reach past her shoulders. She has large blue eyes, freckles on her nose. Her skin is annoyingly pale, which makes her vulnerable to the sun. She is of medium height and build. She often wears jeans and tunic, in order to be comfortable. Foxglove is not athletic, and usually relies on her Cabalistic abilities.
Are you a Shaman? Yes, a Cabalistic one.
Languages: English and can read in Hebrew, Aramaic, Yiddish
Ethnicity/ Place of origin: England, but she has traveled in Israel and Europe extensively
Religious affiliation (if any)/ Shamanic ability: Jewish
Spirit Ally: Morgan Le Fay, Dreaded Dark Witch of the Arthur tradition, who had studied the Black arts. A tall dark haired woman, she hovers close to her Mistress to protect her.
Oversoul details: When Foxglove discovered her shamanistic abilities, her father gave her his most precious possessions to use for her medium. The Tefillen are long leather straps. Ordinarily worn only by men, one proudly goes around her arms and another one is worn around her head. The straps can bind people, as well as drain their power. If Foxglove concentrates differently, the straps harden like swords or are used in a manner somewhat like Lyserg's pendulum. Since the straps are thicker then a string, they aren't as quick, but they are very strong.
Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight: To gain the power to help her sick grandfather
Other: Foxglove is a rather strange young lady. She is often freakishly cheery and she has a million thoughts running through her head, all of them rather off the wall. She loves to read and spends most of her time studying various different subjects. She loves to sing and her room in Path Village always has music playing. She can often be found dancing to keep in shape. Foxglove dearly misses her friends back home and is looking for teammates to team up with for her group of three. If you see her sitting in the cafe, walk up and say hi.

Name: Keisuke (pseudonym i like to use sometimes)

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Physical Description:
Hair: either short spiked black hair, or wearing a cap all the time
Eyes: Behind Glasses XD! Black eyes, often bloodshot from stress, sleep-deprivation, or sugar highs.
Height: Stands 5'7" (short? tall? u decide! > )
Skin Tone: Yellow
Clothing: Heavy Jacket with big pockets.
Overall: Actually, I look a bit like Shino from Naruto, (including the jacket over the face!)
w/o the shades

Languages: English, limited conversation skills in Chinese and Spanish (weird combo, eh?), a little more than a couple phrases in Japanese

Ethnicity: Chinese

Religion: Christian

Personality: A complex character. Kind of a mix between Shikamaru and Naruto.

Shaman? Yes, and participating.

Spirit Ally: Wufu, an ancestor scientist who made compasses as a hobby. Killed by a crazed relative during a conflict between the families (see "other"), when he tried to mediate the disputes.

Medium/Oversoul: a compass on a chain, resembling a watch on a chain. When scouting in oversoul has directional sense similar to Lyserg's dowsing abilities. When in combat, chain can extend pretty far, and compass can move around somewhat like Lyserg's pendulum, but not as easily since it is clunkier, much heavier, and not really aerodynamic. More efficient as sort of a steel ball-and-chain weapon. Chain has ability to constrict, and compass has ability to bludgeon (unlike Lyserg's pendulum, which pierces or cuts).

Reasons for entering Shaman Fight: To have his family acknowledge his Shamanism, and shamans of the world in general.


Other: Comes from that "other" family from China. Family was involved in the downfall in the shamans of China, since it was a family of doctors and scientists and engineers
who helped make the shaman presence in China (like Ren's family) obsolete. Keisuke is kind of the black sheep of the family (which explains why a Chinese kid has a Japanese name XD),
since he's a shaman. He does, however, inherit some of scientific analytical abilities that is present in most of his other family members, but, due to the Law of Equivalent Trade,
in exchange for his shaman powers, he cannot compete with his other family members in terms of intelligence, and so is tossed aside as a useless family member, shunned by his relatives because of his lack of intelligence and shamanism. Has limited medical knowledge since he's from a family of doctors, but not as much as Faust. Runs away to develop shaman powers at the age of 11, taking only a compass along with him, which eventually becomes his medium.

Despite his dark past, Keisuke is quite a quirky kid, eccentric to say the least. Often does things that make you wonder what part of him is intelligent. His big pockets hold many odds and ends - random stuff that always manages to come in handy. Because he was shunned as a child, he puts on a sociable attitude, with quirky humor, to quench his thirst for an accepting company, but hides a lonely, frightened interior.

EDIT: Fun Fact: Keisuke is quite the onsen (hot spring) lover, and finds onsen in the weirdest places. Sometimes he pisses off any fellow travelers going around with him by staying in onsen for too long and refusing to leave.

hope you all like that symbolism with the compass. Not only is that a Chinese product of science,
but a compass, like Lyserg's pendulum, also gives Keisuke the "direction" of his life. ^_~

Name: Evets (My name is too lame, so I put it backwords)

Age: 16

Physcial description:

Hair: Spikey, Dark Blue-Violet

Eyes: dark brown

Stature: 6"1"

Skin tone:Very light tan

Overall: A bit taller version of the 12 year old Gohan

Languages: English, primarily.

Ethnicity/ Place of origin: New York, New York (I don't live there, love to though)

Spirit ally: Kishimoto, a skilled Japanese swordsman, who trained in Japan. He also studied martial arts in China. Evets met him during a trip to Tokyo, Japan.

Oversoul details: Has two, Kishimoto either intergrates into Evets's katanna, or his brass knuckles. He surrounds the weapons in a blue-ish, purple-ish flame.

Shamanic abilities: Unleashes explosive furyoku attacks for a short period

Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight: Wants to be a leader, help people, and be known well

Other: Evets is a fun kid, but seems to be quiet when not with peers, wants to join a team, wants to lead, can be a bit of a smart ass

Physical Description- Golden blonde hair, blue eyes. Hair is generally pulled back into a braid, sometimes a ponytail. Wears a full body suit (black), with a vest and skirt over the top. The skirt is slit on the side, and only goes to above her knees (a few inches above). The vest and skirt are both a lavender.

Shaman Participant- Yup

Languages- English, ASL, some Japanese

Ethnicity- Unknown, but hails from soggy Seattle

Religion- Christian

Spirit Ally- chaos

Oversoul- Gloves, uses furyoku to create divine energy to use various attacks.

Reasons for entering the Shaman Fight- unknown... chaos told her to (and we all know how mysterious he is).

Other- Dessa's not really sure why she's doing what she's doing, she's just doing it 'cuz she's being lead to do it. She knows that there's some higher purpose for her to participate, but she'd rather not try to figure it out (it hurts her head).

Oversoul details: My medium is a silver bell topped with an angel, and when I over soul with my spirit, it becomes a staff (The "Angel Staff")

Other:Mei can be very moody. At somedays she can be hyper and the next day she can be crabby...She has a weird obssesion with fruits, llamas, and other unusual animals. Her diest consists of fruits and vegitables, sweets, and grain products...Yes, Mei loves to eat, but she is not fat...*;;*Her favorite colors are black and yellow..
