Well as the title says, I guess this is where I make my artistic debut....



I had drawn this for one of my co-workers as a Valentine. I lack a scanner, so it may not be as clear.

And I think that it's also apparent that I can't draw ears or hands! ( - _ - )

Either way if anyone can give any comments/pointers/constructive critisim/advice I'd appreciate it!

tonfa, pretty good for a first timer. easy way to make it look just like how its done in the manga, focus at the way lines are drawn(if you plan to do more fanart). Your co-worker should like it. I drew my girl a picture of lyserg along with her christmas gifts. if you can, post it again when its finished.

Ironically enough, I was sorta thinking like that but in the context of the way that one would write a kanji. (stuff like stroke order and direction)

Thanks ^_^, but I always seem to have a hard time drawing hands. Looking at it now, I personally don't like how the hands turned out . I'll keep drawing though!

Yep, she thought it was really funny to!
(I had made it into a card, and then wrote Sanji's little poetic moment from chapter 45 within it. Cracked up! ^_^)

Now this one is an illustration of my Naruto RP character. Looking at it now, There are just couple of places that I should've touched up on, the arm and hand holding the fan for one thing. On the upside I do kinda like how his eyes turned out.

I think your drawings are pretty good. Keep practicing the folds in clothes and the coloring. And you never know what shading can do until you do it yourself. (cough) one more thing. If you want help with your hands, you can either put your own hands in the same position, or do an outline of the hand by making a circle for the palm, and making lines for the way you want the fingers to be before you draw then.
