Before I start my fic (of which this is all that's currently written), a few notes.
1. This story will be going up on fanfiction.net. Reviews would be appreciated.
2. Yes, this is a Xeno fic **watches half the people reading this run away** HEY!!! Xeno =/= bad! And I think I did a good enough job that non-Xeno fans would enjoy it (non-Xeno fan... such blasphemy!)
3. This story is a crossover. I'm not gonna say with what, though, until I get that far.
4. Deian is my own character. Ask if you want to know more about her, but I don't wanna type it now.

Captain Matthews looked up when the door to the bridge opened, admitting chaos into the room. Matthews had known the silver-haired youth for a long time, although he really knew nothing about him. Of course, Matthews had known him a long time, and knew better than to ask questions, like why he seemed to be an eternal teenager.
“Done already?” he asked, wondering if he’d discovered yet another of the boy’s many hidden talents.
“No,” he replied, taking a seat at his console. “Deian’s taking care of it. We felt that it would be better if one of us came up here and let you know just what that new ‘cargo’ is.”
Hammer, the ships navigator, grinned. “What? And we get you instead of her lovely presence?” he joked. In the bow of the bridge, Tony grinned, but Hammer’s laugher was cut off by a kick to his head, courtesy Matthews.
“What do we have, chaos?” There was no laughter in Matthews voice. He had assigned chaos and his… ‘shadow,’ for lack of a better word… to inventory the ‘cargo’ they’d been able to salvage from a wrecked ship. If chaos had come up here to tell him about the cargo… well, that couldn’t be good. Something was in that cargo that they wouldn’t be able to sell.
“It’s bad,” chaos started. “Borderline legal, but not something that we can pass off through our normal routes. And even if we used another means to sell it… well, I know that Master Gaignun and Jr. have been lenient with our ‘side jobs’ in the past, but if this were to be traced back to us, it would cause big trouble for them.”
“What’re we gonna do?” asked Hammer. “Do we dump it?”
“Of course not, ya moron!” Matthews said, kicking Hammer again. “It was too hard getting it, we’re not just gonna dump it. I’m sure we can figure something out. Tony?”
The pilot was silent for a moment. He was trying to figure out anywhere they could hawk the merchandise. “Sorry, Cap’n I can’t think of any routes we could use that couldn’t be traced.”
Matthews signed. “Hammer?”
“We need to dump the stuff. It’s our only chance!”
Matthews grunted, but, surprisingly, didn’t kick the navigator. “chaos?”
Like Tony, chaos was silent for a moment before answering. “We could always contact them,” he finally answered.
“Them?” Hammer asked. “You think we should contact them?”
Tony laughed from the pilot’s seat. “I think it’s a great idea! Let’s contact them.”
“Well, I know Tony’s for it, and it’s chaos’ idea, so he’s for it. Hammer, how strongly are you objecting to this?” Matthews asked.
Hammer sighed. “If everyone else agrees, I guess I can’t go against it.”
“Good. Then it’s decided. Once Deian is finished with the inventory, we’ll contact them and see if they can take this merchandise off our hands.”
