Their first kiss wasn’t a great one. It was sudden, unplanned, and quite frankly rather wet and sticky. Lyserg didn’t see stars, or feel the world drop out from under him, as some of the more flowery books he’d read claimed he would. He winced inwardly at the way his love’s mouth tasted, like he hadn’t brushed his teeth in about, oh, FIVE YEARS. (Even if he had only been... well, dead for two days.) Then again, it wasn’t like they’d intended to have this happen. Definitely not.
He hadn’t intended to dramatically grab Marco by the collar and pull him into what should have been a kiss. It had just happened. It wasn’t that bad a response, really. It was the obligatory kiss between someone and their romantic interest who had just been revived from the dead.
If only Marco’s mouth didn’t taste like it, then this would have been perfect.
Note: Yes, I will flood the internet with this pairing. Muahaha. Bite me, canon! Well, this is all you'll get for a while... I need to revise the next long fic a lot before I start putting it up. Oh, and Marco and Lyserg both belong to Hiroyuki Takei, who is probably plotting to make them straight. Somehow. Even though the series has ended.
