Getting a little feed back. I might re work some of the story line if I feel the need to later on. Please excuse any spelling/grammer errors. Also I tried to keep the characters in the right personalities but I cant say I did my best at it.
Rating: PG ish.
Coupling: JunX Bialong, FaustXEliza
---
As much as she loved her brother she had to question his sanity. Though, she wouldn’t be the first.
Jun had to sew back together her loyal Bialong. It seemed that her brother had talked him into sparing and Ren had sliced poor Bialong into many pieces (accidentally). After chasing her brother around for a few minutes and grounding him from doing anything Spirit related for the next 2 months (He sighed in frustration and reminded her of his duty to be the strongest and she reminded him that she was older than him and could stuff him in a trash can if she wanted to) All this happened at Yoh’s home too. She was embarrassed for both her and Ren and kept apologizing for the way they were behaving.
So there she was in the yard, with a sewing kit and the many pieces of Bialong around her.
Luckily for her the weather was nice and she had nothing else to do.
She had to do this a few time before and each time she pricked her finger a little less. She was sewing together Bialong’s right hand when she heard foot steps. She didn’t stop to think about it because she really wanted to get the sewing done. Without Bialong she just didn’t feel right.
It was then she heard someone talk. Only it wasn’t in a language she knew. Then she heard “Bialong” and looked to where she heard the voice. Standing there holding Bialongs head was Faust. She rarely ever spoke to him and yet she felt some sort of feeling of betrayal. Like he had stomped on her garden kind of thing.
Before she knew it she was yelling at him to put Bialong’s head down (In Chinese no less)
He looked at her and blinked, and in Japanese he started a conversation:
“I was admiring the preservation” [1]
She looked at him for a moment longer to see if he was serious.
“I always wondered how you kept the flesh so nice.”
Some how this was making her mad. In a way it felt as if he was simplifying her situation. Before she knew what she was saying she told him “How’s that bony wife of yours?”
She watched as he went from his usual casual demeanor into a shocked almost pained look. He stood there with his mouth slightly open and dropped Bialong’s head.
Jun watched as he blinked tears away. Even though her insult was that of school yard trash talk it was the underline issue she knew that was making him upset.
And she watched as he went from sad to angry.
“Why don’t you ask your puppet maybe he can tell you!”
Now she was mad...well madder. She stood up and stuck the needle in Faust’s face.
“Don’t you EVER call him that, again!” She felt herself getting red in the face.
Things were silent, and both of them were unaware of when HoroHoro walked past them.
She looked into his eyes. She saw part of his pain. And she knew he could see the pain she was hiding.
“...Aren’t we a pair?...we love those who don’t even have a heart beat...” [2]
It wasn’t before long that Jun found herself working on sewing Bailong and Faust was sitting near by helping.
It was on the 30th prick that Jun laughed.
“You’re not much for sewing are you?”
“No. But I’m trying.”
Jun smiled at him. It was on that day that they realized they had more in common then they thought.
--
“I think its all done but the head”
She looked around for a moment and then picked Bialong’s head up and put it in place.
She started to sew it back on.
“I wanted to ask you something.”
“Yes?”
“Where does he go?”
Jun looked at the blonde and thought for a moment.
“When his body is like this you mean?,” he nodded “Well I imagine it’s a bit like sleeping. His spirit won’t go to heaven because he wants to be here so I always thought of it as a sleep.” [3]
They were silent for a moment. And Jun finished the last stitch and lifted Bialong’s bulky upper body.
“Bialong.”
She watched as his hand twitched. And as his hand went to his head, as if to check it was on.
He stood up (then looked around) and so did she.
“That is the last time your aloud to listen to Ren, you have my permission to ignore him.”
“Yes Ms. Jun” [4]
She smiled and Bialong smiled back. They left Faust to himself in the yard. And as Jun took one last look back to him she saw him take a skull out of his coat and hold it close to his heat.

I always thought Jun and Faust should have some sort of moment together. I mean they both have a special connection to the dead and both have powers for raising the dead. (In some ways I think of Jun capable of Chinese Necromancy)And if you’re like me and many others’s I know you believe they both love the dead people closest to them. But they never seem to have any screen time or what I call ‘heart-to-heart’ moments. So that’s what I tried to do here. I tried and I’d like to see more people try the same thing...
[1] Faust raises the dead from bones. But Bialong is a ‘zombie’ with Flesh and everything. And while Eliza starts out as bones and gains flesh Bialong always has flesh. I can’t imagine in Faust’s learning of necromancy he didn’t try to find a way to keep Eliza together like Bialong (I’d be it she’d be very stitched up and look like Sally from the nightmare before Christmas...) So I can see him admiring flesh preservation. More commonly enjoying the ancient Egyptian exhibits because of the mummies...
[2] Honestly I don’t know. The dub anime makes it seem like if you have enough power and the right skills (i.e. necromancy) you COULD bring the dead back to life. But I don’t know if this includes bodily functions such as breathing and sence Bialong is a zombie of sorts and most myths about such beings only included eating brains and nothing about sudo life abilities so I assume he has no heart beat.
[3] Again No idea, we I saw him broken into pieces in the manga his head was just sitting there and his eyes weren’t focused or anything (plus he wasn’t talking) so I assume it’s like some sort of trapped consciousness thing and that Bialong and the other risen dead can only properly work when all parts are properly attached. Of course this is an assumption but to me it makes a degree of sence.
[4] Just sounds like something he’d call her. I don’t really remember the dub anime and I don’t have translated Manga of when they talk to each other so I have no idea what sort of honor-fic he’d use. If I ever find the right research I can fix it.
